What an amazing thought that we Christians will rule and reign WITH Christ. I may not like my job on this Earth, but I look forward to my next job during the Millennium!!!
I’m really looking forward to it too! How amazing to have Jesus as one’s boss, and for me, to be able to do a job I love, without being held back by poor health, pain & other human frailties, will be especially good!
Being a lifelong and born-again Christian, I love hearing, talking, thinking about what we can expect in our future life with Jesus. Our Blessed Hope. Amen.
I am so happy the question was asked about why many African American pastors do not teach bible prophecy. I am African American and I can not find an African American church that teaches bible prophecy besides my online church. I pray for the churches that are not being taught bible prophecy because JESUS is at the door and many of the members must to be prepared!!!
Sheronda....the lack of Bible prophecy teaching isn't just in black churches now...it is also in other ethnic oriented churches. There is a real void in teaching these days...and much apostasy is seeping, unfortunately because of the absence of biblical prophecy learning. Read as much as you can and seek out sound doctrinal teachers to receive the blessings promised by the Lord if we delve into His words of prophecy.
This is amazing! Its astonishing to me that I was never taught this in all the years attending christians schools and at various churches. Not once did they speak on this and I don’t understand why, because its exciting and gets me pumped!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful message!! Just wanted to let you know that there is another Pastor of color that is also teaching Bible Prophecy and is definitely one you should get to know!!! Pastor Sandy Armstrong is this person... Sandy Armstrong has a Church called Soldiers 4 Christ!! Thank you!! God bless you!!! Amen 🙏
That last 5 minutes about the timing of the rapture and it being pre-Tribulation was huge. So many think that Daniel is talking about the church when it's not and that Matthew 24 is about the rapture when its about the 2nd coming. I can't wait to meet him and his lion, I would like a horse and a giraffe. I put this one on my pre-Tribulation playlist, and as far as those who get left behind, Mark Laing did a very detailed left behind letter to explain all the reasons not to take the mark of the beast, how suicide will just send you to hell during Tribulation and how to get saved by being willing to be executed. I have a Whoever Misses the Rapture playlist too. God bless.
God is so merciful and so kind and so long suffering. He's really really holding off so we can get this into our hearts and be able to withstand the day of provocation. But there's is a time when the Master is going to get up out of his chair and close the door. That is scary. Stay awake, alert and conscious of the Day we are in and don't go back to sleep. Don't give up on Jesus no matter what. We will not enter the Kingdom of God without going through much trial and tribulation. It's hard to walk the strait and narrow and many people do not make it for one or another reason. Just hold on and don't let go of Jesus. I'd preach on but this man is doing a fine job.
Right at the end, Pastor Don talked about the left-behind folks who will finally wake up spiritually and rush to come to Christ. There are some who believe that THOSE WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY HEARD THE GOSPEL and rejected it won't have a second chance after the Rapture. Curious to know Dave and Nathan's take on this particular subject.
Does it matter if he is black? Or is the emphasis on no other black people teach it? You don't really know that, you know? And I am white by the way so I'm not offended like that, but I'm sure there are great black Bible prophecy teachers out there that you haven't heard of
Yea, i agree. Gotta be many others, not just in America only. However, giving credit where it's due, Don has a great heart and is being led by God, and not what so many other speakers, teachers, pastors, evangelists are led by
He’s referring to people who are exclusively prophecy teachers, full-time, and in the USA. There definitely are other great black prophecy teachers in the US, but those I know of, at least, don’t teach prophecy exclusively.
Doctrine……………. 1 Timothy 6:3 “If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;” Deuteronomy 32:2 “My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:” Proverbs 4:2 “For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.” Matthew 7:28 “And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:” John 7:16 “Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.” Deuteronomy 32:1 “Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.” Bless you
The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
LORD GOD ALMIGHTY that website is utterly fantastic!!! Anyone reading this....it ONLY works on a computer. Has CGi, music, video, etc. Let's get behind this website and spread it everywhere possible!
4:33 So true! Don't just talk the talk, walk the walk!!! Nathan, Nathan.....the millennial kingdom will indeed be AWESOME, but after that!! Even better!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-) Funny what struck me.......if you choose Christ, you aught to live like you chose Christ!!! 23:23 Really, how could Adam and Eve have turned their back on such a perfect deal! YET, in the millenium, multitudes do the same!!! Hard to believe. PS: Isn't satan bound during the millenium? All get along in harmony like Eden and then....1,000 years and along comes the serpent and deceives many.
Correct! Hard to believe, but I guess they won’t have any defences against deceit, after 1,000 without demonic forces. Those of us who are reigning with Christ, will need to try to prepare people as much as possible, for when Satan is loosed back on earth, in the last couple of decades of the millennium!
Hi Nathan, I went and watched Don Perkins synopsis through Revelation. I wonder if you can place the second coming of Christ in context for me.In Zachariah 14:4 He comes riding on a white horse with an army of saints. In Revelation 19:11-16 He sets His foot on the Mount of Olives and splits it in two. How does this work? Do both these happen one after another? Thank you for these programs. I learn a lot and enjoy watching this channel. God bless your Ministry.
Maureen, the order of the Second Coming would go Christ returns with the Church down to earth, Jesus then defeats the Antichrist's armies at Armageddon, then He travels to Jerusalem where He lands on the Mount of Olives, and finally Jesus destroys the rest of the Antichrist's forces.
Jim Hill it is my understanding that Hebrews was written for the post rapture times when the age of grace is over. It is a comfort for those living in what will be horrific circumstances for a Christian on this earth ruled by the anti christ
@@wang220 Yet, evidence within the book itself suggests otherwise: the writer and Jesus were living in the last days (Heb 1:1-2); the Old Covenant is getting ready to vanish away (Heb 8:13) i.e. unlike today, it had not yet vanished away and didn’t until several years later, in AD 70, when the temple was destroyed; the writer states that Jesus died at the “end of the world (age)” (Heb 9:26), and then the writer goes on to say that Jesus will come in “little while” and “will not tarry” (i.e. no 2000+ year gap) (Heb 10:37). Peter also preached he was living in the last days (Acts 2:14-17, 1 Pet 1:5, 20, 4:7), as did James (James 5:3, 7-8), John (1 John 2:18, 28, Rev 1:1, 3), and Paul (1 Cor 10:11, Phil 4:5). All expected a “soon” return of their Lord, not a 2000+ year delay. This begs the obvious question, the "last days" of what? The ONLY last days ever mentioned in the Bible are the last days of the old covenant God had with Israel. Those days have long gone. There are no other "last days" even hinted about.
Jim Hill Those Last Days aren’t long gone! While a substantial portion of the prophesies for the Jewish people have been fulfilled, the last part of their Last Days prophesies have not been. The clock started again in 1948. Re the 2,000 year “gap”: if a thousand years is like a day, in the eyes of the Lord, as the Bible states, then from God’s perspective, Jesus only died a couple of days ago, which isn’t really much of a gap! 😄
Parousia1 I too grew up hearing this same theory but found that it lacked zero biblical support. If a day truly is a thousand years would you argue that Jesus was in the grave for 3000 years? Time means something to God as evidenced by the numerous time statements all throughout the Bible. Jeremiah was told the Israelites would be in the Babylonian captivity a “long time” (Jer 29:10, 28). They were there 70 years. Contrast that to John stating that he was living in the “last hour” (1 John 2:18, 28). It requires great hermeneutical gymnastics to create this “delay theory” between Daniel’s 69th and 70th week, something that is totally contrary to scriptures which state that there would be “no delay” (Heb 10:36-37). Regarding 1948, when Israel came back into the land in the Bible, they came worshiping the one true God. Did that happen in 1948? The longest “generation” in the Bible is 70 years, but typically 40. We’re going on 71 years since the secular state of Israel was formed. If that’s supposed to be the last generation, then you’re going to need the “day is a thousand years” theory in order make it through your lifetime. I know these teachers and preachers mean well, but I’ve found that it’s much simpler to stick with what the Bible actually says.
According to 2nd Thessalonians 2 those who have heard understood and rejected the gospel prior to the rapture will be sent a strong delusion and Damned to hell, there will be no second chance for those people according to that chapter as I understand it.
