I've grown to accept the fact that I don't read at superhuman speed, and I like my reading pace because I can take everything in and appreciate the story and book more along with the writing.
Hi Jesse, I took a semester of Japanese and learned so much, I could even write in the language. If you truly want to pursue it I would totally recommend you to. It looks hard, but once you know the basics it's way easier than it seems :)
What you said about losing people to death and conflict- I AGREE!!! My friends are the most important people in my life and any time there is any kind of drama i get really sad!! I hope you never have to lose yours Jesse!
Ever been in one of those situations where you don't plan to spend your money but then you see a book sale and you know you just have to get something? Lol, that happened to me today. I was at my college at Ivy Tech and there was a book fair going on. Plus the money was going to a good cause, so I bought some books today in a snap decision, lol! In case anyone wondered I bought Red Queen and Cruel Crown by Victoria Aveyard.
My book patronous would be Etiquette and Espionage by Gail Carriger! Since I want to be ladylike, a spy, amazingly smart, and a daredevil all wrapped into one!
Jesse if you like anime you should watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood!! It's honestly the most amazing thing I have ever watched, you will love it!! Also Yuri on Ice and Haikyuu!!! 😊
Omg Yuri on Ice is so amazing!!!! I really love the direction they took it and how they portray such a realistic and healthy relationship, but figure-skating remains the main focus. I seriously love all the characters so much xD
Anthisbooknest FMAB is amazing! I loved ERASED as well, Hinazuki went through so much. You should continue watching anime. I personally love Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Code Geass and Attack on Titan. Try AnoHana, Your Lie in April, Puella Magi Madoka Magica to start with if you're interested.
BAYMAX!!!! Can never have too many Baymax's. Book patronus would be ACOTAR, not just for the romance but the amazing camaraderie of the characters, humour perseverance and plots twists! Love that Miss Peregrine's still your top fave. When you feel such a strong affinity with book, its like a friend forever.

You already reminded me of Percy Jackson so much, so seeing all of your blue shirts made me think that more. Also I love Baymax! The little details like when he copies Hiro's actions make me want to hug him. I wish I could have a Baymax.
I think my book patronus would be Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine or Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry. Both are stories about young women who are outcasts in really bad situations. Both work super hard in the face of adversity without ever sacrificing themselves. Both of those books mean so much to me that even when I'm couch hopping I carry my beat up copies with me. When everything is dark, books become so much more than stories. They are hope.
50 pages is a lot more than me :( I can barely read 30 pages. *_Ugh_*. But these are, I guess, adult books and the font size in the books I read are smaller than Young Adult books.
Hey Jesse, my book patronus... Oh my god, that is kind of a complicated question! But I think I will have to say, "Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe". When I read it, I laughed, I cried... I became so engaged in the lives of those boys it was like I was in the story with them. I like to read, but I don't read that quickly or that often. Every once in a while, a book will floor me and leave me with all the feels. "Aristotle and Dante" did that for me!
My book Patronus would be Queen of Shadows because damn I just feel so satisfied when I read it. I dunno why. I know there are, like a lot of scenes where the feels just hit you, but seriously it's golden
My book patronus would probably be Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira - It's not necessarily my favorite book in the world but I've read it twice at two completely different points in my life and so different pieces of the plot and subplot stood out to me as the most powerful and the most relatable because the context of where I was in my life both times I read it completely changed the experience. I think that's really cool for a book to be able to mold to me in different ways.
I think my book patronus would be The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender. It's just so beautiful and whimsy and I like to think I'm a whimsical person!

this reminded me that i have to do an anime recommendations video but to recommend some animes: Code Geass, Wolf's Rain, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. I relate to how you feel about your grandma. That's how I feel about my grandpa also I'm taking Japanese this semester and I have found it so much easier than I thought it would be. Fangirl would be my book patronus hands down. That was straight up my freshman year of college (minus the cute coffee drinking boy)
No shame, I have I squishy Baymax and love him. And I bought winter Stitch this year....He has a Christmas sweater and plaid vest. He's also Mainer Stitch to me.
My book Patronus would probably be Into the Wild by Erin Hunter. I read this in like middle school, and it has shaped my life and the way I think of nature as a whole. Definitely would recommend. Sadly, it has been years and I do not think I could start reading the newer ones just because I felt that the last one I read was a good conclusion to the series.
Okay I can't decide but my book Patronus would be either Pride and Prejudice, Wonder, or Anne of Green Gables. They all leave me feeling all warm and happy inside.
Duolingo is great for learning languages, and it doesn't take up a ton of time if you don't want it to. I'm learning Norwegian and re-learning Spanish and it's super helpful, so I'd definitely suggest it!
Erased is truly mind blowing!!!! My book Patronus would have to be...A court of Mist and Fury. this is a really hard question but ACOMAF is probably the most accurate one to be my Patronus, not only for the memories I have with the book but what the characters taught me.

My book patronus is definitely A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas mainly because I fell in love with the characters in the world but also because I find Sarah J Maas to be an amazingly inspirational person and if sh could live her dreams and be an author why can't I? I ask myself the question every single day and right now I am so close to finding the right agent and I hope one day soon that my book could be on your bookshelf. But seriously, don't we all dream?
So excited for Windwitch! My book patronus... Hmm. Probably Beauty by Robin McKinley. It is a classic for me and I feel like it encompasses everything right with fairytales, which are my favorite things. Also, Japanese is so complex. My best friend is currently in Japan studying because she is learning the language. Seeing her grow in her comprehension and speaking ability has been exciting, but I just don't have the patience to learn a new language (one thing I will forever hate is that I am impatient when it comes to practicing things. I want to snap my fingers and be a master at once.)
I had Japanese for 8 years in school and all I can remember how to say is hello, goodbye and how to count... which I learnt in year 1... Japanese is hard!

my book patronus would be Harry Potter and the prosenor of Askaban. It made me realise that i struggle with depression. I know this sounds sad but it was really helpfull to know what was wrong with me. It also helpt me to deal with my depression because I could find my personal patronus.
