Same here, my flow game sucks lol. I don't have the attention span to sit and flow write these days. I need something to sound good quick otherwise my brain hates it and I need to do something else. I think generative music is gonna really start to take off. The intentional aspect of music, especially meticulously crafting patterns and rhythms, is super time consuming. Most people these days with a full-time job, relationships, home projects (like me), don't have a lot of time to dedicate to working on the tiny details for hours at a time. So, if I find ways to make the process take less time, I'm all for it.

If you want to randomize this with notes of different pitches, just hold the option key and click a different note on the Piano Ruler then repeat the process. Use the "shift" command on the lower right of the box to slide the notes around even more. You can also hold option-E to split specific notes. Been using this method on bass and other shit with all kinds of cool and unexpected results. Lots of it unusable but some come out killer like where TF did that just come from?

Just so all my bad boys are aware, Danny said something about randomness, but there is no randomness in the rhythm midi effect. It's deterministic, so if you do all the same things they did you will get exactly the same results.

On every channel except the master, There's 60db of headroom above what the channel shows. A channel can be red, but will have to be over 60db above to start clipping.
