Max is beyond adorable. You two and the conversations you have - the cute level is dangerously high. The cuddles at the end melted me. I am now a puddle on the floor. Love you two! Like many others have said, watching these videos cheers me up when things are not going well. Max is a feathery antidepressant.
I love the interaction between the two of you. Melts my heart. I feel so bad for all of the "bird owners" out there. They don't get it. Max is a member of your family. And you have to give him the same love and stimulation you would a child. I don't see Max as owned. I see a Dad and his feathered little boy.
Beautifully stated! You have to feel bad for birds whose "owners" keep them in cages all the time, don't want or try to see things from a bird's perspective, and then to mistreat them when their "pets" have the nerve to act like birds do (screaming, biting, chewing on things) when they are frustrated, lacking stimulation with appropriate toys, losing the chance to fly and walk about, and placing unrealistic expectations on them (thinking that they must talk on cue, never bite, and be quiet when it suits the "owner"). That's the reason there are so many parrots in rescue shelters or, for those unfortunate birds with angry and abusive owners, lives of terror and misery. Bless Dan for treating Max as the sentient, deserving, and wonderful being that he is! Both he and Max are being rewarded for the love and respect they have for one another! Yes, it is joyous and a privelege to watch them interact! 😀💕💓💖👍😃
@@barbaramendelsohn3355 Max's previous owner was like that. Very abusive. Would bang on his cage and yell at him to shut up. Even denting it. After awhile he decided to sell Max so Dan bought him. Did tons of research.
I full heartedly agree with this statement and I’m also happy to say I’m not a “bird owner” I am a ✨bird mother✨to my lovely little conure child called Link I can’t leave the room without him and if I’m being honest he’s trying to help me type right now 😂😂 what is with his obsession with the letter g 😅😅
Max is a reckless driver...I mean who lifts up their car when having a road rage and keeps on saying hi with the cutest little voice😅lol.....u just gotta love her. 😍

I'm sorry about Angel passing. I know how hard that can be. Once my parrots kitty friend Doogie passed away Chicken (my parrot) was freaking out for a while wondering where his buddy went. It was so sad to know he was hurting just as much as I was. ❤️❤️
Aww! Max loves daddy's cuddles and kisses! Soo cute! It's so funny how he reacts when you push his car across the floor. He looks at you like he's thinking keep your hands off my car! It's mine! Lol!
I watch these videos over and over and over. Start and end EVERY day with mulaccan cockatoo videos. Always make me HAPPY. Plus watching and reading about them. I have LEARNED SO MUCH!!! Dan is a great dad to Max!

cockatoos are the most commonly affectionate birds, they can tend to get too attached and only want to cuddle and not play, that's why I try to balance it for Max so he knows to play alone some times.

I love this bird. Those thinking about getting a bird please consider re-homing a homeless one instead of buying from a breeder. There are so many unwanted birds out there needing a home. They are very hard work and require special care but very enriching to your life too. ☺

I think a bird has to have something he hates to work out his aggression. My parakeet had a toy with bells that were identical except for the color. He loved the blue, green and purple bell, but hated the red bell. He would attack the toy when I held the red bell up front but he would lick the other bells and cover them with kisses.
I watch a lot of cockatoo videos....but, watching Max and his daddy always feels like coming home. They have the best relationship and I don't ever feel like I need to defend Max. Your videos are so inviting, entertaining, fun, relaxing, informative and make me feel good watching. Thank you so much for letting us all come into your world and enjoy your little boy with you :)
