They really did an amazing job with this tune. Is the most best 2stroke tuned engine. Listen how it revs and how it comes back at idle. And those individual exhausts, are amazing!
An upgraded Trabi is not a real Trabant unless it meets these criteria: #1 Single body steel frame #2 Outer skin, or side & top panels, made of a fiber re-enforced plastic #3 Front wheel drive and rear wheel steering #5 Columnar shift transmission #6 Two or three cylinder engine #7 No dependence on electronics for the automobile's vehicular operation
One reso exhaust pipe per cylinder, I guess, which are mounted 180 degrees angled, so the cylinder out ports are on the fuel tank side now. Manifold isn't needed then, because there is no cylinder out ports to be merged to one exhaust. Both have their own. Pipes are going up over the engine, back down where the stock muffler was originally seated and then it goes to the back. Maybe they mounted side pipes or left-right-system, I don't know. The blue pipe is the "cold" air intake, with an open filter unit attached to it. Engine sounds rebuilt to me, really silent, isn't it. Nice work!
