Levi Cowan creates videos and blogs pertaining to tropical cyclones, primarily hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean. Posts occasionally concern other, non-tropical weather events around the world. Levi is currently a Ph.D. candidate in tropical meteorology at Florida State University, and completed his bachelors degree in applied physics with a concentration in atmospheric physics at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Much more information than the mainstream media. Direct and precise. 9 minutes and 24 seconds talking about the storm and patterns. You would have to watch mainstream media for 2 hours to get the same information. Thanks.

FRAUD IN FACT LIARS: Dorian is a madman made manufactured super-storm. It hasn’t reached a hurricane category 1 status, in reality and actuality. Howsoever, “He who controls the weather, controls the world”. And these aren’t at all MOTHER NATURE’S natural disasters, deliberately directed energy weather warfare weapons, co-creating combustible clouds, and controlling jet-streams, high and low pressures, executing enhanced - elevated electromagnetic events = evildoers!!!

I've grown up with hurricane coverage, and yours is the most thorough and matter-of-fact. I'm sure the format helps and the fact that you're not trying to squeeze it in between commercials, but it's also nice not to hear terror in your analysis. I live in marion county fl,I'd bet everything I own this storm makes land fall between the space coast and Daytona,every storm I've seen in my 46 years here that comes in like this one is hits the Bahamas and speeds up comes inland comes across central Florida exits around cedar key hits the gulf and rebuilds then either heads straight to corpus Christy tx or turns due north and hits the panhandle or Louisiana,

This is the first time I have seen a video from Tropical Tidbits. I feel good clear concise info with easy to grasp graphics which I appreciate. I have a friend in Sanford that I am watching the weather updates for. It looks better now for central Florida than 2 days ago. Hard to know if we can trust Dorian to be logical. Hard to know if Dorian will pull a surprise and a Louie and swing back to the left again, right into central Florida.

This could easily see two more eyewall replacement cycles before Tuesday over the northern Bahamas which is what I think the ECMWF is seeing and keep a westerly track for a longer period of time if it shifts that eyewall directly over Grand Bahama.
