My husband has some more medical stuff going on again this year, so I don't know how much camping I'll be doing with him or on my own. We are also near Lake Huron and the St. Clair River - but on the Canadian side. There are lots of places to sit by the water. So I am setting our van up so that it's ready for a picnic or a day trip when the mood strikes. Lawn chairs, a little table. A place to lie down. A bin with kitchen-y stuff in it. We have already done a couple of picnics! I'm glad you got your van back so quickly. Ours was in a fender bender a couple of years ago and it took forever (months) to get the needed parts!!! I guess the supply chain issues are mostly resolved now.
Well that was bizarre, 2 within minutes, wow what are the odds. Good that you weren't hurt and that the woman that hit the van wasn't the one that hit you.
Unreal Nancy, I was just hit on Sunday in our local Canadian Tire parking lot. I too was standing outside my van, driver's door open and suddenly crrrunch - scrrrrape across my vans corner bumper and back hatch door. She was lovely also and insurance is paying for my repairs. I've been in the stores quite a bit and I too have been wondering what the heck is going on with drivers...Spring Fever?? At least we're all ok right? 😅 Could have been a lot worse for me as I was parked in a Handicap spot (card displayed), and like you standing beside my van. If she had of hit me harder with her pickup and shifted my van it may have knocked me off balance and onto the pavement. Yikes!! That may have put the brakes on my van travels. 😳
Holy cats! I’m glad you’re OK! Sorry to hear of your mishap as well! It really could’ve been much worse for both of us. I hope you are doing well in your van. Repairs are speedy! Have a fantastic time camping this year! Thanks for commenting. Have a fantastic evening!🙌🏼😃💯
My good news on the road. February 27th, I had $5,000 in cash for traveling. I earned, $1,800 doing handyman work from town to town since then. Today (March 27th) I have $5,200 in cash. Therefore, I only spent $1, 600 living my traveling life. Making a monthly profit of $200 while enjoying the life. That's the good news. - In April I have six month's insurance due ($640). I'll have to work my *** off to recover from the financial hit. That's the bad news. .
