Thanks for your kind feedback - glad you liked the review. 👍 I can't argue with you re the way the watch sits on the wrist - I'm quite sure you could pass a thin pencil under there! However, what doesn't come across in pictures and video is just how compact the watch is. The 40mm diameter and short lug to lug distance does make up for the unusual height so it really doesn't bother me but I agree, they could have just curved the lugs downwards. I suppose they wanted to keep to that blocky angular design.

It's a tough choice but I have had my one for a couple of months now and am glad I went for the steel bezel. It just feels so right to me and I think it makes the watch look a bit more special than the ceramic bezel. Thanks for watching 👍

Hi, yes you can pay by PayPal from the UK. I've bought at least 15 watches from Jomashop over the years. I can say that they are a very reliable company. Most orders are shipped the next day by DHL Express. The shipping fee is about £30 and you will probably have to pay custom charges when it arrives in the UK. However, due to the heavy discounts, it usually still works out a lot cheaper buying a watch from them, compared to the UK. Check out ashford.com as well. They operate in similar way and have some huge discounts at times. Thanks for watching 👍

@@wristwatchdave422 Yeah I saw you'd bought many over the years. I've known of them for many many years, but never purchased anything. The watch I've recently seen and love, is in the main more common in Japan than anywhere else, but believe they had a US model number too. I've not imported since Brexit, so it will be entertaining to see what the fees work out to be. I know there will be 20% for VAT, and the admin fee. But wasn't sure if there was also a separate import tax on top. I'll take a peep at Ashford, you're a star, cheers.

@@H-4-D3423👍 Nothing has changed since Brexit regarding importing from Jomashop because it's coming from the USA, so the import fees are exactly the same as before Brexit. It's 20% VAT and a small handling fee.

Broke how? These, and most other Doxa subs are simple and tough as hell, short of some user error, there's little that could go wrong.
