2 million views but only 209 comments? That’s tells you 98% of the people watching you had no idea what the hell you were doing, lol. So, I had a 2013 Passat TDI. I had so many issues, around 100,000 miles the car went into limp mode. I took the throttle body apart and it was clean, did a smoke test and pressured muti points on my VW, found no leaks. I never did figure out what the hell caused the Passat to go into limp mode. The dealer covered the cost to fix it which was over $18,000.00 USD in parts and labor to fix it!!! Not kidding you guys, they had my Passat for about 4 months, from what I understand looking at the work order they had to replace almost everything (not the engine) I wish I could upload the stack of paper work they did due to what the DPF caused. I had to get a new EGR, New Turbo, new PDF, new exhaust, and much more. What ever you do DON’T DRIVE YOUR TDI WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON!!! Because it bypasses the Blu Def fluid, the blue def Crystalized in my lines through out the system which cost me about $3800 to trouble shoot only to find out it would of been covered by the dealer recall. How about them apples?

Just took ALL that shit off my'12 VW Jetta. Tuned it with a Malone 0.5 tune, not a huge increase in power but man does it EVER run good now. Stinks like a diesel too.. I love it
You need reprogram it sure. Well my car says dpf temp 700c always (not 699.9 or 700.1 etc, its not changing) and sometimes software can be made it to say like -300 celsius. That is because that engine doesnt start "forced" burning for dpf (egr). Maby blocks egr too to make engine perform better (no dirty exhaust circulation back to engine, saves engine too around 75% more.). Sure emissions is higher and like in finland emissions can go so huge that law cannot pass car every year inspect and makes car illegal to drive. Sure, depends on models, etc what is "max" and can maby pass those with good luck even with egr and dpf physically (or coded not to work, like egr) took off. Basically newer the car, higher chance to not to do this or pass emission test.

@@andrewlowe6111it will if the welds are on the top of the DPF, the tester has no way of knowing the contents have been removed. DPF is visual inspection only
Hi i have passat b6 2007 i recently change the turbo now when i go over 60 car goes to limp mode and fault is overboosting do you think i should remove DPF ?
If softwaremodded, then no for egr too. But its fine cos all shit comes out from exhaust and doesnt fo back to engine and of you thing does it block dpf, no it doesnt cos there is nothing anynore to get blocked, so now your car can breathe, engine last longer and product more power, win, win, win. (Usually even computers dont let you do forced regerates anymore, bjt sometimes they do, but there is no point cause there is no shit to burn).
In my car once was removed DPF and after that was a lot of smoke, after that i bought a new dpf and now no smoke, only after regeneration little bit white smoke...
@@denisbalionis6456 They told you the truth. White smoke is from injectors. New dpf do not fix injector/ smoke problem . IF you do not see the smoke , it is inside , and will block Intake manifold soon, turbocharger, etc.
Mein DPF is nun glaub ich auch so zu 98% voll... denke ich werde das gleiche tun müssen. Einen neuen werde ich definitiv nicht kaufen. es wird ja nur der Differenzdruck am Eingang und am Ausgang gemessen oder? Also ist es ja egal ob irgendwas im DPF filtert oder nicht?

Der Prüfer bei der Hauptuntersuchung muss den Wagen mit der OBD prüfen und neuerdings auch den Schnüffler in das Endrohr stecken, um die tatsächlichen Abgaswerte zu beurteilen.
@GMBestMotors wo hast du es ausprogrammieren lassen bzw. Weißt du wie es geht? Wollte es mit vcds machen, aber habe gehört, dass es damit nicht geht. Meiner zeigt keine Fehler an, aber er qualmt im Leerlauf.
i explain here the problem , lot of french people (like me) are going to south america, with nices campers, but after a wild, problems start, because of the quality of the diesel, and they are in troubles, because, they cannot empty the FAP, because in south america, its almost impossible to find a guy to reprog your camper, and if you find one, there is not the same models there. if i can have someone to teach me how to do that, or better a box you plug to the camper and do the job alone, this guy could earn lot of money. importing spare parts to south america is a nightmare because of the taxes, and the time locked at customs..hope one clever guy understand me and my need, i'll go back there in 2018 and before i go i'll dismantle all this sh..T, but if i can help it will be perfect

yeah, here in Poland all users get rid of this shitty invention. It was the first thing I did when I bought my Zafira 1.9 cdti. However, the ECU was ripped open and damaged. After 2 years the ECU needed to be replaced, which cost me a lot and I was angry with the guy who did the dpf removal.
I've only ever had 1 diesel ⛽️ car and have had problems with d p f , e g r and sensors, cost me a lot of money , now I'm getting shut of the car and getting a petrol engined car again .

@@mahrc6428 mi jak się zatkal tak że wypalał co 30 km i komunikaty miałem. Raz oddałem do czyszczenia ( więcej tego nie zrobię bo zabulilem 800zl a pomogło na 400 km ) . Po tej operacji sam zdemontowalem, wycialem środek ( zawiozłem do skupu spory był zwrot ) ,zaspawalem puche dałem do gościa żeby wgral mi dpf i EGR off i po sprawie :) cieszyłem się jazdą. i have a 2007 opel vectra and my glow plug light is flashing and runs crap when im stopping at traffic lights and lots of smoke i was told it was the dpf was clogged,,, can anybody tell me if i remove it and clean it like he does in the video will the light go out also and stop going in to limp mode any help please
I have 2007 opel twintop cabriolet with 1,9 diesel, 150 hp, since 2014, since 2015 I don’t have any more problems like before with the engine because I removed the dpf filter, egr valve, admission swirl valves, and ofcourse I removed them from the software too. Till now my car it’s running smoothly and response very well, it has a lot of power and no more smoke at all, it’s kinda pleasand smell in the back of burned diesel. Catalitic converter removes all the noxes but few people know that. My car passed every inspection without issues, and they told me that it’s not having problems with co2 emissions.

did the same on my golf mk2.... max speed was 120km/h.... now after removing it is 176km/h.... nice job man for others who say thats more polluting, not true because with dpf on you just put out finer particles of polluting agents....
@@martinocipriani8771 hello!!! as i said to the previous person, i made a mistake, it was a catalytic converter and not a Dpf, she had 330000km and it was impossible to drive over 120km/h (clogged) now she has 400000km and runs fine !!!! ;)
@Iss993ITA: Those particles would've come out anyway, in larger size and more dangerous. At an exhaust with DPF, at least it is clean as it is from the showroom. And my E90 LCI has over 10 years now. So the DPF definetly is a good thing.
Would have taken less time to initially flush it with Caustic soda to remove the 20% carbon and then a mix of 25% muriatic acid to75% water to remove the 80% ash.You would then have a dpf for the next 200,000 miles.
Have a problem on Skoda Octavia5 TDI 1.9 with EGR & DPF and the car is in safe mode very often. Cannot erase hte faults with laptop anymore for the DPF. Should I go for removing DPF & EGR and remap my car? Any smoke after that? Any kind off smell? Any health problems, from the emissions after that? Because I have my baby in the car everyday. Thanks.

I gutted mine the same, I’m getting white smoke every now and then, idle is sometimes high also the engine emissions lights on, will a dpf computer delete resolve this?
After removing dpf u have to turn it off in program too, bcs dpf got pressure and temperatur sensors, they not gonna work properly if ”can” is empty inside
Eye believe, the Audi/vw is the same. The vw service adviser guy, told me a filter, would get plugged, with the diesel. I think, he was talking about this one.
Been on vehicles for yrs and all these experts on here most don't have a clue. An old converter can backflow exhaust and just unbolt and jam a bar through and knock guts out and bolt back up. Less time and computer experts on here it doesn't mess up computer. Get out of your textbook knowledge and learn hands on real world. He wasted more time cutting it open then reweld and many don't have a plasma cutter on hand
