I am a Nurse and recently subscribed to a FB group on Dr Sebi and healthy eating. I did not know how truly ignorant I was to this whole alkaline and healthy eating lifestyle. How amazing to see a family going back to the roots. This is how we ate before the Europeans infiltrated our lifestyle. One suggestion if I may, the tomatoes you used has acidic properties, so one would suggest Kumatoes which are brown tomatoes or the plum tomatoes, but nonetheless and beautiful video! Hello. This was really great. I have a family, We are deciding to transition to a healthier lifestyle for our family. I'm trying to change my eating habits but it's difficult as healthier foods are more expensive and i come from a family that has typically eats anything. But as I've been maturing in faith I realize that I and my family members are in dire need of change. We just recently celebrated Christmas (yes i know it's a pagan holiday) and my step mom made a lot of pork. In the past ham, links, and pork ribs have always been my favorite and i know she prepared it all out of love. But i'm only just now understanding how bad pork really is. Same goes for coffee. I picked up the habit while serving in the military but i never realized how bad coffee was for the body. It's so hard trying to live healthy because even when you try to use alternatives you find out that they also have unhealthy chemicals as well. I just find it sad that we live in a world that's literally trying to kill us from the inside out everyday. You even have to be careful of the water you drink. It's really depressing because food and water are the 2 basic substances we need to live, yet they mix all these harmful chemicals in them and it seems there's really no way to avoid it.

It will be exactly what you say it is. Bear in mind that your thoughts and moods are directly tied to what you ingest. I know this firsthand because I too have been where you are. You have to decide within your mind what you will do, and do it, even if you have to do it alone in the beginning. You may be the one to help your family in the long run, if they desire to change. Start where you are and navigate through the hurdles, doing the best that you can with what you have, until you can make other changes later. I am starting to incorporate healthier eating but my srategy is going to be to start weeding out the unhealthy things in my diet and add more healthy things over time. A lot of the organic things in my area are pretty expensive and I am on a tight budget but I am going to work in as much healthy things as I can. I figure doing something is better than nothing at all.

When we actually start eating less. We can afford better foods. Kroger Stores sell their organic foods really close to the price of other bad foods.

So it’s hard buying all organic . What I do is look at da dirty dozen and anything on that list I try to make sure is organic. Bell peppers and cherries are very expensive organic though
