Dragon Ball Sparking recently had another trailer and while yes we got a release date(10/11/2024). Bandai didn't count on someone figuring out every character in the season pass already. No Dragon Balls needed ....Doctors hate me.
So apologies on my side I completely misunderstood and took pack one and two only as Super Super Hero and Daima with Gt being the potential 3rd pack. But it was pointed out to me that no it’s just 3 packs around just those two things. Now I really hope Gt is base game. But it probably won’t be which sucks cause that mostly means no Gt until like season 2😅

If I was ranking the forms in my preferred order it would be… Super Saiyan (Can’t go wrong with the classic) Ssj4 UI SSG Any other form you can think of….. Then SS Blue
GT is NOT pack 3. the website clearly states that all 3 packs are daima and super hero. meaning pack 3 is either daima part 2 or super hero gets the first 2.
Shit then my bad 😅 I assumed the first two packs were just super super hero and Daima and so naturally the 3rd pack would be GT. But that means that Gt needs to definitely be base roster then otherwise it’ll be a good bit after the games been out for minute before they get added. Don’t know how you feel about gt but SSJ4 is what I look forward to in most DBZ games

For instance, The Para Para Bros, Legic, General Rilldo, GT Trunks, Goten, Gohan, and Vegeta(base). As well as some of the other Shadow Dragons past Eis, Nuova, and Syn. And hopefully they do the same with OG Dragon Ball characters whenever it eventually comes to that.
Not really lol... GT ended in '98... Super is currently the most popular piece of DB media bar none. We're in a new era lol, so obviously focus would be placed on Super over almost anything else. Literally don't know what y'all expected coz GT was DLC in FighterZ too AND in Xenoverse 2 (granted XV2 already had some GT characters)
I don't see teen trunks, goten, pan or gotenks getting dlc. They didn't really do much of anything in the movie Teen trunks and goten did much more fighting in the manga, but we know manga only content won't be in sparking zero

After thinking about it a little, I honestly don’t think waiting until dlc for gt is the worst thing. If gt characters are included in the base game I really doubt they’ll get any story mode stuff, which would suck. Imagine the cool what if stories they could do with gt characters. I also think it would increase the likelihood of getting more characters from GT. All of Goku’s forms, all of vegeta’s forms, the more iconic shadow dragons, baby, trunks, pan, super 17, majuub, etc. an entire season pass could just entirely be GT.
It’s because of that thought process that I would be somewhat ok with it. Still wanted Gt in base but if they knock it out of the park with just a straight up Gt season I’ll be content.
GT has been relegated to DLC for awhile now, like in Xenoverse & Fighterz, so it wouldn't be surprising if it happens here. They also said the story mode covers from Z to Super.

Why should they split DBS Super Hero into 2 parts? So U can enjoy half of the Super Hero characters and the other half Ur gonna have to wait a month or 2 or who knows how long it'll take. That ain't happening. Super Hero DLC would be exactly 10 characters. And they say 20+ characters (yeah I know probably not 30 cuz they would've just said 30 from the beginning but still) 2nd DLC being Daima I'm sure. And it will most likely have like 5 or 6 characters (Goku mini, Vegeta mini, and then if they can transform maybe a transformation each. Plus the villain) leaving DLC 3 with about another 5-6th characters.... Bruh... We ain't even getting GT in DLC... Cuz nothing makes sense... 💀😂

The only way they would be dlc is if bandi copied their moveset from the manga (they did much more fighting there and turned SS), but Bandai doesn't mess with manga exclusive content so it probably be just the gammas, Gohan, picoolo and cell max
I think because they did super as base that’s why they are doing gt as dlc because they still gotta make there money they haven’t even showed any Dragon Ball Z movie characters yet. I really want Tapion Hirudegarn and Cooler in this game.
The part that sucks about beast Gohan being dlc is they could've done some cool what ifs of it hopefully ss4 is in base game that way they also have good what ifs
Also I will say it's weird that super hero has the gammas as the mascots for the dlc it makes me wonder if beast is in base roster because of it since there would be no reason not to make him poster boy
Beast Gohan being dlc was probably a good thing. Other than a potential SS4 dlc, there's not a lot of characters left that could be good dlc material. Unless you count Z movie characters, but a whole other thing

My guess for the packs: all Gohan’s, all piccolo’s, the gammas, SH Pan, Cell Max, Daima Goku, Daima Vegeta, and maybe some other characters I can’t think of
I do think considering a different point of strength as a different character is okay with me as long as it gets the life time for dlc support as xenoverse 2 because there’s no way this game shouldn’t eventually have every dragonball character. I am okay with paying for those character because this game has the potential to be the best dragonball sandbox game ever
I think the 2nd and 3rd pack are both gonna be Daima. Like the 2nd pack will just be the characters we know in the first few months of the show and as the show progresses more and more characters will be revealed that can be added in Daima later on in the 3rd pack
heres the thing, pretty sure shenron has been confirmed (atleast super shenron is) to be used for getting zeni and characters (which explains gogeta and broly super being EARLY unlocks), i really hope dlc characters arent going to be tossed into rng when you buy them, instead just give them to me or like put them behind a little story mission for what its from (like imagine you get a extra story mission for the plot of super hero to obtain all of the dlc character or just for beast gohan after buying the dlc, twice the content) holy yap session TLDR: i hope with unlockable characters that dlc is either instantly obtained or locked behind a story mission obtained on purchase (that isnt insanely hard)
I agree with you I rather have the characters off rip after purchasing the DLC or unlock them through the story DLC that’s added. It does seem like it’s rare to have old school character unlocks in games these days. But these are different times🤷🏾♂️
20+ characters can mean anywhere from 21-29. You can add Cell Max to the minimum requirements and maybe they’ll throw in DBS Pan for good measure. Daima might have a bit more than just Goku, Vegeta, and the main villain, but not by much. I can see Kid Supreme Kai being a character at least. Depends on what’s revealed by the end of the series. GT probably would need to be two DLCs because there are 19 characters minimum that you would need to add (4 Gokus, 4 Vegetas, GT Pan, 2 Trunks’, SSJ4 Gogeta, 3 Shadow Dragons, 3 Baby Vegetas, Super 17) I can see them selling the Baby arc as its own DLC and then pick up season 2 with part two of GT.
I hear you when it comes to GT. Whenever its dlc i will be getting thst because i just wanna play as my favorite super saiyan form and arguably the best one. But im begging Bandai for this. Please give us GT goten, if we can get bulla in a dragon ball game then GT goten should be in one as well

Trust me I feel you 100%. That’s why I really hope at least Gt Goku and Gt Vegeta are in base game so I can main SSJ4 Goku if not it will definitely just be a future DLC which is unfortunate. But given how db super is the main thing these days that makes sense that’s their focus. So base roster will mainly be Z and super probably. Not everything has been shown yet so still hoping 🙏
I don't see the need for a Super Hero base Piccolo. I imagine we're getting Cell Max and the Gammas as well. I narrowed down how many slots are left after obvious characters from Z and Super based on what we've seen. We have 22 slots left for DB, DBGT, and Z movie characters.
That’s good I worry that DB might get overlooked for a while at least since DB Daima kind of fills that playing as a younger Goku feeling . But I hope they don’t skimp out on Og DB content. And the remaining like 22 slots gives me hope for Gt. I don’t think we’ll get Z movie characters until later.
This is correct but at the time of this video I assumed that superhero was just one pack and Daima was two leaving the 3rd pack to be it’s own thing. People cleared that up for me😅
Given how half the upcoming DLC is Daima characters there is no way to know who is in the DLC at this point since we don't even know who the Daima characters will be beyond the deaged versions of some characters.
Fair point, Daima really is a question mark. Daima DLC could have for example Goku, and Vegeta which is such an unknown variable just off those two that it could just be kid Goku and Vegeta so two slots. Or if they do transform during Daima (which wouldn’t understand why they wouldn’t) then those two would already be six characters at least. Unless they only go ssj in Daima, so who knows🤷🏾♂️
GT was confirmed to be DLC by a leaker and in a press conference. And I do hope that GT will be a DLC Pack, I want to get as many GT characters at once, and that would likely include a whole GT story mode along with GT what ifs! I hope the movie timeline gets the same treatment as well.
So my reason I believe a Few gt characters are in base roster is because they’ve done it always and on top of that on the official sites it’s says DBZ “to” DBS which tells me something’s in the middle of that and the only series to come out in between those two was GT. If it said DBZ through DBS then I could see it not having them in there. But we’ll just have to wait and see.
Yeah I can see that, one thing’s for sure the amount of money they can make off potential DLC in this game will be insane. They can have seasons of DB,GT, the old DB Movie characters. The possibilities are truly endless.

It's far too big to just be one pack. I feel like we wont see GT stuff until late next year.
You're wrong in smth, the pre order bonus character are indeed 6, not 2 since every transformation has different abilities and moveset, they just look similar but they're different from each other
So what I kinda mean is while yes you’re getting six characters with their own individual movesets at the end of the day in actuality it’s only two characters being Gogeta and Broly. They just take up six slots.

My guess: Gamma 1, Gamma 2, Beast Gohan, Orange Piccolo, Cell Max, All Goku (GT) forms [+4], SSJ4 Vegeta, SSJ4 Gogeta, 3-4 Daima characters. This leaves about 5 slots for other forms of the same characters (which agrees with the video, and at least 1 is probably base Vegeta(GT)), however, I think having more Picolos and Gohans as (Super Hero) would be a waste when you could just use their (Super) forms. So I'm hoping those slots have other characters.
I really hope that’s the case. Like you said just apply the super forms to the current base versions in game cause that truthfully would be some wasted slots.
All Tenkaichi games have gt characters but they are usually at the end of the game cause they are not cannon don’t worry it’s there just cause they don’t show it 😌
I'm hoping for a "Games Original" DLC pack. Shallot, Giblet, Zahha, Android 21, Fu, Demigra, Super DB Heroes characters, etc. Add them all. They're all fucking amazing characters (ESPECIALLY the DBL cast, they get so underrated).

And yes... I think Gogeta and Broly are 2 playable characters with their shapes in the promotional image! They advertised the game a lot by showing mainly things from the Dragon Ball Super Broly file.

Lets say 10 dlc per 10 for daima and 10 super hero (maybe less for daima but who knows ) forsure gamma 1&2 and all forms of piccy including giant and gohan base ssj, Pu then beast and cell max to add more giants but since diama might not release at that point so maybe you can squeeze in fat gotenks from super hero and pan since i doubt diama is gonna have more than like 6 characters for the dlc release

I want the shenron summon to be able to summon characters from other timelines being the movie characters and then GT so thryre in the base game but you gotta unlock thrm through shenron. And then for the dlc characters, majority of them should be what if characters. I think thatd be mkre interesting so like a Vegito that uses kaioken blue and blue evolution or a gotenks that actually did the fusion right from the Cell Max movie. Perhaps even manga Super like Moro and Granola but for some reason thry dont likero put the manga stuff in games or dragonball heroes. Probably a license issue
That is one thing that will suck too is that we will probably never see Granola or Moro in this game because until Super comes back with an anime they won’t be in this game. I think it’d be a funny role reverse if ssj4 Goku and Vegeta was dlc like how ssgss Goku and Vegeta was dlc for xenoverse 1. But yeah praying it’s not.
The character's it's gonna be are beast Gohan (as a transformation for adult Gohan), piccolo (power unleashed), orange piccolo, orange piccolo (giant), cell max, gamma 1 and gamma 2 in pack 1 totalling 7 characters then pack 2 will have diama goku, probably a diama goku transformation, diama vegeta, probably a diama vegeta transformation, a diama villain and probably a diama villain transformation or a supporting character like gohan or piccolo or chichi or someone else (depending on the focus of diama) as dlc pack 2 containing 6 characters leaving 7 more for dlc pack 3 and I don't think it'll be GT, it's too big of a franchise with too many characters and transformations and unlike superhero you really cant just give the transformations to the base forms in the game as they vary wildly from the canon characters so it'll be movie characters (this also explains the lack of exclusive branding for dlc 3) bardock (super Saiyan), Z broly (base form), Z broly (legendary), cooler (base), cooler (final form), metal cooler and bojack. Then they'll start doing leaning into gt in either their second or third year similar to fighterz depending on if they want to do og dragon ball first or gt.
Yeah I could even see a legacy season that has characters like Cooler, Og Broly and, Jenemba. The amount of DLC this game could potentially have is insane but that’s both a good and bad thing depending how you look at it😅
Ngl Ss4 vegeta and goku, evil dragons and baby would be pretty cool but it'd be way better if it's in the base game as it would be pretty annoying to pay dlcs for each character (if they put it in the game)
I worried for this game after seeing the dlc packs and season pass. Why is this in there? Gogeta is a story character? Why is he dlc? I get the super aspect and super broly since they're movie characters and from my memory of BT3 you could transform in battle so why are the varients sold seperately? I want this game to be BT3 or better, now im worried it wont be or cost 4 times as much.
No you’re misunderstanding man. So Gogeta and Super Broly aren’t DLC you’re just getting early access to them by pre-ordering instead of unlocking them naturally.
The what if’s during a GT story mode would be insane. Imagine a Gt storyline and then for whatever reason Beerus enters the fold during the shadow dragons arc or something 😂

I think they might do something like they did with DBZ: Kakarot. And the entirety of the Season 2 pass will be built around DBGT, with it's own story mode to boot. Considering how much thought and work they've put into the game, I wouldn't at all be surprised if they not only gave us the character's we want, but let us play the story as well (something I'm not sure has really been done before?). I mean, why not go all out for a game people have been wanting for nearly two decades to milk it's patrons (slaves) of all their money (with-in a somewhat reasonable level) regardless, I'll be spending my money on it. Already bought the delexue edition for pre-order.
Yeah, but you got to keep in mind Super wasn’t a thing back then. So they have to focus on getting canon characters in first and focus on the new era before we get some of the older stuff. Trust me I hope it’s in base game wise but we’ll see

all DBSSH:gohan:base,ss,ss2,ultimate,beast,piccolo base,power awakening,orange,giant piccolo,gamma 1 gamma 2,pan,megenta,cell max,and dr hedo=15 characters, the rest is kinda a mystery
I would prefer if every gohan form besides beast is just a costume for adult gohan. Beast cand be the form after ultimate.And yellow and orange + giant transformations for the piccolo we already have in the game. That would mean: 1.Beast Gohan 2.Yellow Piccolo 3.Orange Piccolo 4.Giant Orange Piccolo 5.Gamma 1 6.Gamma 2 7.Cell Max For Super Hero DLC. Maybe we can add Teen Goten and Trunks but there is too little to make a moveset for them. They don't even go super saiyan in the movie and their fusion failed. The manga versions would be possible, but since they are not adding manga exclusive characters, no way. Daima will be a series, not a movie. There will be around 20 episodes, plenty of time for a lot characters.

Also, I agree with the Gohan just making them skins because until beast Gohan really doesn’t do anything really new so we could squeeze more slots if they don’t make a super variant of Gohan. That would make sense but they might not have a (Super) Gohan in the base. So they might make a whole new moveset for him. Which may or may not waste slots depending on how you look at it🤷🏾♂️

Yeah I think DB will probably be it’s own season later down the road or I have this feeling that OG Dragon Ball content will kind of be filled by the Daima stuff and they won’t add OG Dragon ball in I hope that’s not the case.
Probably due to the fact that the base roster seems loaded with DBZ and Super characters already that because of that, logically the rest of the characters most of us want will be in at a later date. In an ideal world they should be in at base but🤷🏾♂️
Broly and gogeta aren't dlc if you pre order you just unlock them instantly instead of doing the story you probably get super heroes gohan so base super saiyan super saiyan 2 ultimate. Beast mode. Cell max gamma 1 gamma 2 teen goten trunks daima characters so chibi versions from daima thats it probably after all these dlc you get gt
Yeah, I highly doubt they wouldn’t do it considering they love incorporating transformations in this particular kind of game. So I want to say trust they won’t do that.
I don't know how i feel about just getting SS4, i really don't want Sparking Zero to be another Xenoverse situation, where we get just Transformations, and the ability to transform into them, like for me i hope they release dlc that show we'll get characters with Transformations, cause i agree with you on the SH predictions, but i do think we'll also get Cell Max and SH Pan As for Daima i think it'll actually be more, with us getting no GT stuff this season Nah I think GT will get it's own large DLC, giving us GT Goku with his base, SS, SS3 (maybe 2 but doubt it) and SS4, then GT Vegeta with base, SS, SS2 and SS4, then getting baby exactly like we did in Tenkaichi 3, and Omega shenron and his other transformation, which is a lot of freaking characters, and not even all they could add, we could get Super 17, GT Pan, Nuova and Eis, maybe even Ledgic (copium) like GT has so many characters and stuff that they could 100% sell as it's own dlc, and obviously SS4 Gogeta is a given as well, like so much possibilities all for one big and expensive DLC that they have to know will sell like hot cakes And if they do, do that, I know what I'm buying
Facts Gt really could be a whole season by itself or have split packs. Due to the potential amount of characters they would have to add. Probably won’t have my ssj4 Goku at launch but whenever that DLC hits the Gt content might go crazy. Yeah that’s a fair outlook to have this game will probably be a full fledged game on release that when DLC drops you honestly can’t get too mad about it.
I highly doubt they’re going to put Ultimate Gohan from Z and Ultimate Gohan Dbs Super hero as two separate character slots when its literally the same transformation different era. Same thing goes for piccolo. Though I do think Piccolo’s giant and powered up forms should be base game tbh. Powered up shouldnt be DLC and base game, that makes zero sense to me. Why make a separate character slot for the same transformation?? Kind of a waste of space on the roster and the DLC when they could just label the slot Gohan (Z/Super/hero) And if its all one slot, let the player select the version they want from that one slot? The only version of Adult Gohan that should be separate is Beast because its recent and new/profitable?
That’s also true but sometimes in these kind of games you never know if they will just use the base characters and add the forms with a different variant name and moveset. So like we have Adult Gohan base, ssj , ssj2, and then ultimate. But then the super superhero ver. is basically the same with maybe the removal of ssj2 but adds beast. And the whole moveset for the other forms are different. There’s so many ways they could go with this that could be awesome or a wtf? kind of thing.

So you clearly never played this series before. Yeah, Transformations count as characters and that's because they have their own moves, Skills and Voice line but you don't get multiple version of the same transformation what you get is different versions of the base. This is why there are 4 Goku's, you have Goku early/mid/end of Z/Super but you only get 1 SSJ Goku who they can transfer into instead of multiple. There is already going to be an Ult and SSJ Adult Gohan in the game they're not going to add more of them unless they are vastly different from the ones that already exist in Game.
You clearly didn’t watch the video. I was specifying how it worked when it said for example, preorder and get early access to six characters. I was stating that even though it says 6 characters in reality it’s really two(the two being Gogeta and Super Broly.) yes each variant has a completely different move set but at the end of the day it’s still just two characters. So when future DLCs say something like 10 characters expect one character that has transformations to count for at least 3. I even mention how the variants worked in a previous sparking video of mine so this isn’t anything new to me.
I doupt GT will be in DLC, it literally only mentions Daima and the super hero movie in the DLC pack. GT will 99% be in the base roster, just wait for the trailer trust.
So we aren't expecting Black Freeza and Ultra Ego Vegeta for the DLCs? I'd find it an absurd if they didn't add the last super badass characters from the Manga like Granola. I was really expecting them as DLC
I don’t expect manga characters for a while and if we even get them it would probably have to be if they ever show up in the anime. Which who knows when that’ll come back😒
