+Elijah Baker Yes, if the fans support the project, Bandai Namco have already says that if the community like the Facebook page of the project, they will realised it. That's the Dragon Ball Raging Blast 3 Fan Wish project. All the fan wants is in this project. Go check and like it : m.facebook.com/DBRB3Project/
They really made the effort to make sure that each character from each saga was separate from their other counterparts..... not only do they look slightly different they're fucking move sets are vastly different. Goku end and Goku mid are two very different Gokus. Same with Vegeta second form and Vegeta scouter and vegeta GT. Truly incredible
There are around 90 characters in Tenkaichi 3. But if we count all the transformated forms and the fusionned forms (like Vegeto, Gogeta, ...), the total number of characters is around 130.
@venkman 9488 it's basically Playing the series AND the movie. So if you play this without watching the series you will undoubtedly have a solid grasp on the actual events of the game because of the fact that they even added minor characters
How to make the ultimate, perfect dbz game: *Budokai Tenkaichi 3 gameplay and soundtrack *Budokai Tenkaichi 2 story mode lenght *Xenoverse 2 graphics, open world and character customization *All of their characters, stages and game modes put together, plus the new characters from db super
Fred 006 Yes, that would truly be the perfect DB game ever. Plus many DLC for the next 3 years. So pretty much, everything you said (about combining things from BT2, BT3, Xenoverse 1 & 2), and everything I just said (including characters' Transformations from DB Heroes & DB Fusions).
You know this games praised for it's 163 characters, but that includes transformations, nothing wrong with transformations being separate when they have unique fighting styles
Mr.Banks it’s still nice to have the option of all the characters to choose from unlike DBfighter where you have a few characters and then it costs $5 or so to unlock two more
Christopher Taveras If you expect a complex ACTUAL competitive 2D fighter to have THIS many characters then you’re insane. They’d need to make them all mostly original. And they’d need to balance them ALL. Balancing characters in these types of fighting games is insanely hard.
It's not the characters I care about, it's the gameplay. In Xenoverse, there is heavy focus on your own characters, that's why the roster is somewhat lacking. But it has all the characters you need, and none that you don't. We don't need KibitoKai, who never fought at all in Dragon Ball Z, or any other character who doesn't mean anything. In XV, all the playable characters that were there were playable due to their involvement in the story mode. Due to this, XV exceeds where Tenkaichi somehow failed. Tenkaichi has too many characters, so they all mostly play the same. Budokai didn't have too many characters, only those needed. XV doesn't have too many characters, only those needed. Tenkaichi had too many characters. You can't say that a game should "take notes", considering those notes would consist of repitive styles and gameplay. XV is good, just like Budokai or Burst Limit even. Too many people fail to see that because they care too much for every last character in DBZ, or they hate the difficulty, or that they just don't like the new story. Anyways, you need to check yourself, because Tenkaichi sucks and the only reason people like it is nostalgia.
allan smith Yeah, but it takes a lot of money to make a game now, so they need to make it back somehow, though a lot of companies do go overboard with them
@@feliperagonha No offense, but that argument is kinda flawed when you bring in the Wii port. Also don't argue "Wii controls" when the Wii port allowed for GameCube/WaveBird controller support not to mention the usb port for more options. Yeah the Wii's online was rough but the same can be said for a lot modern games that charge you for dlc and microtransactions. Just saying...
If they make a remastered version on next gen consoles then i will never buy another dbz game ever. This is by far my favorite dragon ball z game ever.
And this why Bandai will never release a remastered version of this game. Because they want you to buy future DB games. The roster in this game was basically a pre-Super DB fan's wet dream.
Crazy to think 15+ years later we are getting a new installment to this franchise, All my fellow DB fans we played, we laughed, then we reminisced of all the old memories on these games. But now we can finally truly relive all those great what-If, and sibling rivalries. R.I.P to all our brothers nd sister who couldnt see this day. SPARKING ZERO is gonna be historic.
This my favorite DBZ game. I have so many fond memories of it and I miss playing it. they need to make an HD remaster of this game for PlayStation 4. I hope they do so in the future.
The first Dragon Ball game came out in 1986 the first dbz game came out in 1990. Saying that THIS is a OLD game is saying that George Bush was the first us president. Or that DBGt came out before Sleeping Beauty..
before: *you have All the characters and gamemodes! you Just have to unlock-them playing a lot!* Now: the game includes 2 gamemodes, and 4 characters, if you pre-order you get 2 characters more, the first DLC (coming november 2020) is free and includes 4 characters and 1 gamemode, you can get all the skins free! (in loot boxes of course) but if you pay you can get it before (anyway in the loot boxes Just apear the same things) if you buy the next 30 DLC ($100 every one) you can get 10 characters (without skins of course) and if you buy the collector's edition you can get Broly ssj
This is the Complete Dragon Ball experience. If this game was released in 2021. You'll got only 8 Character and you have to Pay extra for the rest of them. Just Look what are they doing with Street Fighter. I hate it when they don't release a full game.
Lol no not really because rage mode is fucking retarded when versing actual people....assuming you played with actual people...all it took was 1 button to not be hit by a super move...like really you could never perform ultimate moves, with actual people it was retarded that game...budokai 2 had a better system tbh.
@@marshalllee6376 that's the point tho. Instead of saving characters to add as dlc just put every single character in the game. Which characters do you think bt3 could have as dlc? They put every relevant character in the series at the time.
>Characters nobody even played. (I mean for real, who wants to play as pilaf machine of frieza's soilder.) >Hell no BT2 had waaay more sagas. Did you even play BT2?
What I like the most about this game more than any other is how they consider characters in their early/mid/late form as separate characters with completely different move sets. I really hope other DBZ games implement this.
@@The_Vanni The combat is more enjoyable and accurate to the anime. The techniques and signature attacks have more presence. When you buy the game, you get the whole package unlike Xeno2 .
Darn this game has too be the best dbz game ever. There are just so many characters to choose from, too bad dbz games won't be like these anymore but hopefully we can hope for raging blast 3, even though it might not come out, but it probably wouldn't be as good as tenkaichi 3.
I heard they're making a Raging Blast 3 if they can get enough funds :P If they end up making that game, all they need to beat this game is have more characters.
Super Saiyan dragon Raphael Gomes Hey I wanna know what are your thoughts on Dragon Ball Z Raging Blast 3 and the project that was presented to the producers..... If you don't know anything about that go check it out right now
So are we still in agreement that this is the best DBZ game of all time? I didn't buy Battle of Z because I thought it looked like crap, and after being disappointed by Ultimate Tenkaichi I didn't want to risk it. And now Xenoverse looks like crap too, like they took Battle of Z and mashed it together with Ultimate Tenkaichi.
Chadfill8348 Yeah, I have Raging Blast 2 but some how it still doesn't feel quite as good as Tenkaichi 3, and im not just talking about the amount of characters in the game, it had something.......special to it. Or maybe im just being hit with nostalgia, 1 of those....
What i love in this game: - so mannyyyy characters - the gameplay and the attacks - you can transform into ssj or in a ape or also fuse while you fighting! - Everything Hope they will bring out Budokai Tenkaichi 4 and i also hope that you can play online
still my favourite dbz game, wish they could make a remaster for all consoles and pc, or better yet, make a budokai tenkaichi 4 for all current gen consoles and pc. The game STILL looks good today and that's a ps2 game!
How many DBZ games can say hey had such a big roster that they had Great Ape Fasha? bt3 was such a great game it basically taught me all the lore I missed.
Of course it has a story mode. It wouldnt be the best dragon ball z game, if it didnt. It even has a "what if" saga. It's like "What if these guys met each other or fought each other in the series?" For example, Super 13 vs Super 17, the androids. Or if Gogeta fought Vegeto.
@@redgloves9159 they actually did, and since you could have a party of like, six characters i think? you were able to do fusions mid-battle as long as you had the correct members in your party(Vegeta & Goku, Trunks & Goten, etc). so yeah all-in-all it was a really badass game to have as a kid.
i really hope they keep the character set list like this in budokai tenkaichi 4. the variety of characters and each saga of them having completely different playstyles is insane
Adham Samour yupp but they are not going to make another DRZ game like this again because people said that it was not player friendly, but it dose not matter to us true DRZ gamers ya know
actually yes i have! i have beaten Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 and there is no such thing as DRZ its DBZ i have watched DBZ i have DBZ BT3 DB RB2 DBZ UT thats 3 games right there i can remember watching SSJ2 Gohan fight Cell and Goku fighting Frieza and Goku and Vegeta fighting Kid Buu
I played this whole game more than 10 times and unlocked all of them every time Man I miss those good old times :( Budokai 3 was one of my favourite games too :,)
@@kingkishan I cannot remember at all but you need to collect the dragonballs several times to wish new characters from shenlong I don’t remember the other ways to unlock the others anymore but I think there are some videos on RU-vid that’ll explain
@@kingkishan Go to the story mode mission where you fight Bojack as Teen Gohan, then just go through all the houses in the city (and also destroy the houses) until you find a Dragonball. Do that 7 times and you’ve got them
Funny to think that if this game came out now. Imagine how much money you would have to spend to just unlock the hidden characters 😳. Miss the days when you there was a certain criteria for unlocking characters. Now, it's just a quick cash and grab game.
Damn I miss this game so much, I remember spending my time from morning to evening only to play this game when I was still in elementary school. It's been 7 years.
Let's be honest: If Budokai Tenkaichi 3 were released nowadays, everyone would hate it because most of these characters were released by DLC's, and most of them would be hated because aren't characters that we need (like King Vegeta or most of the Original Dragon Ball)
@@Videospiel-Man5730 Kid Goku, Piccolo Daimao, or even Tao Pai Pai and a few more maybe. But who cares about Pilaf, for example? He isn't even a serious villain, he's mostly a joke.
@@davidblaze2091 I still like him and he appears multiple times in the manga and hes probably one of the most jokey db villans at all also a lot of people want satan who is consistently a joke character!
with the upcoming Tenkaichi I wouldn't mind some cuts since Tenkaichi 3 basically had a new Goku for each Z arc. Trim that down to .make room for DBS Goku. and do we really need Appul, Frieza soldier, King Cold and King Vegeta?
True but remember this was the old school. Back then there was no DLC and online. So games tended to go above and beyond which meant deep cuts were put in. Also no actual customization so they while some are clones gameplay wise, they made them separate slots. Now with today’s advancements I doubt we will be getting all this filler spots. Some will likely be able to created if they allow us to mess with the outfits, and that’s looking likely.
One thing we do need in DBZ: Sparkling Zero! Is all these classic soundtracks in game similar to how Tekken 8 has its jukebox. Hopefully they do it cuz it would be amazing, to hear these classic tunes in the new one imo.
