In a nut shell … Connie Mayer, Bruni, Kathie von Arum are all three sister seedlings. Either Kathie von Arum or Connie Mayer most likely the parent of the Asunta’s . Kathie von Arum looks just like an Asunta #2 flower and taste. Rey similar.. It would take me too long to tell/explain why … but I know. I like the Connie Mayer fruit the best … it has a lychee nut or coconut flavor … it’s a good bloomer but needs a pollinator and of the three sisters is the best grower. If I was looking for a cutting of Connie Mayer I’d purchase one from either Kim Phan here in San Diego or from Tye Miller owner of Spicy Exotics Dragon Fruit … they both have the real deal… I acquired Connie Mayer back in 1999-2000 before it was named… and given it to the two mentioned above. Ive tried all three and personally grow them... Asunta 2 one of my top favorites hands down, brunni has a more complex flavor that is like none other, connie mayer tastes like a mild shredded coconut.... these are all in my top 10 but Asunta 2 tops both of these for me followed by bruni then connie mayer for me
