I subscribe to the fan theory that Android 13 is Dr Gero's inner perception of how he actually looks or what he thought he looked like as a young man. Basically, his own self-insert OC in a fanfiction. Majin 21 is Vomi's self-insert OC...and by the laws of fanfiction, THEY MUST KISS!

i love how the "we really stopped trying after season 3" joke completely flew past Taka & landed full force on Kaiser

"Catching Vegeta really fucked my shit up" is a hilarious line because it's so unnecessarily vulgar and the fact that it's Krillin saying it with a smile on his face amplifies that even further.

Frieza's non canon brother still gets more love and attention than Goku's canon brother

That "Not anymore..." makes me weep. Not only has he been implied to drink to the point of numbing the pain is just irrelavent, he knew that golden haired transformation was going to be the end of him, and he knew that was his last chance to feel that comforting hollowness that he'd long since forgotten in a sauce of his own making.

I love watching these directors cut with all of them because it always looks like a fusion of Jack black and Chris Hemsworth watching DBZA with a young Skrillex and young nostalgia critic.

If Korin and Yajarobi were in Bojack, the next step would be them trying to adopt a baby. They settle on a fat kitty. Yajarobi: He has your ears. Korin: He has your love handles.

The Goten joke was perfect. Also that move is 100% called "Spirit Saiyan" as far as I'm concerned.

"Trunks! Your jacket is weighing you down!" I like that Trunks learned his lesson for Broly and got rid of his jacket when the fight began, character development people.

I'm on Taka's side. I want Cooler to be canon. I always liked how savvy he is compared to Freeza, at least in the first movie.

DBZA was a scouting agency for voice actors. It is just astounding the people they have cast.

13 and Goku's exchange of asking how Gero had so much trouble killing Goku and Goku simply responding that he's stubborn is possibly my favorite exchange in all the movies, both because it's hilariously honest, and makes for such a usable quote.

It’s a very subtle, possibly indeliberate thing but I love Gero derangedly screaming “kill Son Goku” as a nod to 17 saying “try living in stasis for years with your creator yelling kill Son Goku over and over inside your head”, as well as inside 16’s mind. Gero’s natural state.

As a natural born Arkansan, I can confirm that mispronunciation as a crime. When they did the Arkansas joke, and gohan said “consider my pet peeved”, I felt that. I felt that on a spiritual level.

I'm still bitter about the loss of the cell reenactment video in Kai. It was perfect and they really should have kept you guys in.

I love how, after watching a bunch of these commentaries, these three don’t come off as “pretentious directors”. But every time I’m watching the commentaries these guys are quoting every quote that I am quoting. And that’s because they are actually the biggest fans of their own series. And that’s awesome! Every time they talk and discuss, it reminds me of conversations with others about the series I used to have in the past. This is awesome!

Seriously my favourite DBZA movie. It’s so packed with jokes that never get old.

Obviously in bojack, Korin and yajirobe’s would be trying to adopt! They are a true power couple.

The only thing I really remember from the original dub was Trunks calling 13 a "Red Ribbon redneck", and how it cracked me up.

The banjo version of the Imperial March as the hat lowers is one of my favorite jokes TFS has ever done.

I played as a western themed gunslinging android in a dungeons and dragons game named Doug Newman and it was so fun basically making him Android 13 for the entire time. I even pulled a “you plum gone’n dadgum did it now son…”

The string of jokes starting with "Vegeta, he stole your do!" Is my favorite moment in all of DBZA. Peak comedy writing.

"SOMEONE STUPID GET IN MY WAY!!" is my second favorite TFS Vegeta quote of all time.

As a side I kinda love that in the AOT abridge Jaen was portrayed as a rich elite when he’s from Trost which would basically be like a blue collar city comparable to Chicago.

The Korin and Yajirobe storyline is the single best running gag in the entire series. I don't care who disagrees, I will die on this hill.

"Round 2, flesh lights!" Is still a line that makes me shudder in just how gross it is. 😂

I never once realized what was going on with the android’s broken voicebox. I thought it was just a joke to make him unique. That’s honestly incredible, the freaking LAYERS in this show!

I knew that the "Monkey Fighting Androids" was a referrence to the tv censored Snakes on a Plane but I only just realized that it also works as these Androids are fighting monkeys (Saiyans).

Cooler as a concept is pretty awesome. You have this space emperor who sees himself as the ruler of everything and everyone, but it turns out he's actually gotta share power with his older brother and his dad is secretly pulling the strings of his two sons. And he's a p*ssy compared to his kids! But they don't seem to have it in them to kill him themselves! That's such a neat dynamic!

Coming from that Totally Not Mark review makes these hit so much harder

Holy Crap, i never noticed Briner voiced Adult Gohan. Funny you got both him and DJ Sexadillionaire for this movie, when they would very soon also be working together

This movie has some of my all time favourite deliveries from Scott. I know most of it serves to make Trunks look pathetic but it's just so freaking adorable. Especially the, "...but you don't even have a sword..." line.

I was at a convention that Briner attended, cosplaying as Olaf the Snowman, and got a picture with him and the autograph , "One Drugs, Please. Thunderhead" and it was a great time had by all.

I also love that Taka and lani are like the hyper little kids and there’s Scott the calm father figure just dealing with the kids 😂😂😂

So many good lines in this one movie, just as the original Super Android 13 Movie had. Lines like: 1. "Vegeta, he stole your Do!" "I'll kill him" 2. Ok racist, if you must know, it's because he has a drinking problem" "Hey, it's only a problem I run out" "We don't like to talk about it" 3. "Three whole Androids huh? Pretty sure that makes 8. Hmm, never letting the boy live this one down" 4. "Well, if you can't beat em, bomb em" 5. "Do these people even give a damn anymore, I swear they stopped trying after Season 2" 6. "Oh, why did I even bring this?! Wait, why DID I bring this? We were shopping before-" 7. "Oh right, Super Saiyan" "Oh sh*t, Super Saiyan" 8. "He punched in the d*ck, why? Why did he punch me in the d*ck" "Not so funny now, is it Kakarot?" 9. "Oh this bodes poorly. Jesus Christ!" 10. "Yep, Senzu Beans healed my nutsuck good"

I think, in a hypothetical Bojack Movie, they will just mention at the beginning that Korin and Yajirobe are in their honeymoon traveling around the world.

Being a native southerner this film was always my fav's of DBZA's catalogue. I donated during the movie marathon years ago cause I just love it that much, and getting to see the breakdown is the cherry on the top.

if TFS went into Bojack, since Korrin and Yajirobe weren't in the movie, it's clear they'd have been off on their honeymoon now that Cell's not threatening the world anymore. I've been really enjoying watching these commentaries. Not only do I get to see the methods to the madness, I get to watch DBZA all over again. Win/Win! 😁

My favorite line throughout the entire movie will always be Vegeta's fear in his voice saying "Ohh nooo."

I have waited MONTHS for this. At 35:50; this was the PERFECT opportunity to have Adult Gohan say "Goten? Where'd you go-ten?" As a callback. I always heard it in my head as a kid and i have been holding onto this one for YEARS.

Curt’s jab at Goku’s reaction to the Cell Games reenactment just solidifies my theory of Sean being the whistleblower even more.

Man Kaiser's "DAA-AMMIT!" at 21:18 is so good! Also the entire scene is just excellent of course, it's just so much more funny when topped with that!
