To be honest IYRTITL kinda screwed him over. It was a complete change of style, he played it off as a mixtape, and people really embraced it. He took an extra year to release this and hyped it up too much. It wasn't bad but I know he's capable of better and that's what's disappointing.

this is fucking bullshit. views from the sihks was the best middle eastern rap album of the past decade. when osama dropped 'Always Been Laden' i thought he could never top it. but then he dropped 'the world trade towers' and I knew it was over for rap. but then came Drake hard in 2015. 'Sihks Sihks Sihks' he raps in 'back 2 back towers', mocking osamas well known feat.. then 'hotline bomb' blew up the summer. So dont act like Views isnt the bombest shit ever, mr Tony. i rate it 9/11.

This album was bad for many reasons 1. He sings at least 60% of the album, therefore he can't be the best rapper in the game because he barely raps. This is not a album for the hip hop scene, MAYBE R&B 2. His singing is monotone and never really changed pitch or flow, he sounds the same every song its boring. 3. Again there are multiple songs where he's singing about girls and heartbreak, it might of got him where he is today but we've seen this already so many times. 4. His features we're shaky and all over the place. Truth is Views was such a success sales wise because Drake is very commercial and promoted the whole 'Views from the 6' vibe very well. The people hopped on because it was interesting at the time to see a strong connection with Drake and his hometown Toronto, his promotion was flawless. Views being anticipated as a full length album people got hype for it, Drake being the hottest artist in the game. Sales don't always reflect talent.

Pretty much my favorite Drake album. May not be objectively his best work but this came out the summer before my senior year of high school and this shit was the soundtrack to life that year haha. These were my favorite tracks to bump in the car with the friends. 9 is such a good one idk how people don’t like it.

Views is painfully boring.

Lotta people are dissing the rating when he gave Lil Boat a 7/10, but the rating is reflecting the potential of the artist. We know Drake has created great tracks and many hits, and the album is underwhelming compared the the standards he has set for himself. I enjoy some tracks on the album, but there are some that make me want to skip immediately. Plus Lil Yachty dropped a hot tape so you cant fault fantano for seeing the genius that is Cold in Minnesota.

Are you gonna try to take the word "bitch" away from people to? The album is conceptual, it's supposed to be the 4 seasons as they are felt in TORONTO. It is cold most of the year here so I guess you could refer to it as monotonous, but you can see the seasons if you look at it as starting from Winter. Again, I understand this is your OPINION, but you deliver it in a very anti-Drake, uneducated perspective. Please do some background research before you speak on matters you aren't educated on. I'm a long time fan of yours, but you've become overly critical, you have many valid points here, but the unnecessary criticism and grievances you seem to have with Drake stain this review.

This is the worst review I've ever seen everything is completely bias and critisized from a negative perspective. Focus is way too much on the lyrics when they seriously aren't as bad as this guy says they are. Production is completely overlooked. Living in Toronto I have the unfortunate curse of having to hear sheep saying this album is "art" or a "masterpiece". I can care less if I piss off every fan girl but it needs to be said. Drake is all hype and plays people like puppets with his trends if you want to call it them. He's done nothing innovate or unique at all, all he's managed to do was water down hip hop today and have people refer to Toronto as a number which is corny as hell. I think once people start growing out of their adolescent stage they'll think Drake is corny just like allot of people did with Vanilla Ice when he was booming.
