I always so appreciate your incredibly kind and encouraging comments Ragnot! I think where I get my ideas mainly stems from Drax playing best in protection, and protection being the most varied aspect. Green just has a lot of different directions to go and I love trying all of them out with Drax. And since I play him the most of anyone I get lots of opportunities lol. And yeah that opening hand was stellar! Anytime you can get Dwi Theet and Mantis on the first turn it’s pretty much a foregone conclusion at that point 🔪

Huzzah! Ooo all good suggestions! By now I’ve already played all the games so if I don’t take any of those in the future just know I hadn’t read them yet lol I really like that Malice card. Puts you in a tough spot and really gives you a lot of different ways to handle it, as you’ve displayed. And if you don’t happen to have Retaliate you could also just choose to ignore it and take the 1 dmg every turn as well. Very good design

@@GetUpandGame only a little! As it is I'm having fun with the direction you decided to go and possibly being sold on a new hero. Speaking of which, tried Adam Warlock for the first time the other day expecting him to be bad and ended up playing him a bunch of times because of how strong he seems to be! And that was just the precon! So I flicked through your videos to see how you got on with him and realised that you haven't done a playthrough with him yet (not a published one anyway) - I think you had him quite high on your personal list so I assumed you'd done a playthrough! I suppose this is just my very roundabout way of asking if you would consider doing an Adam Warlock playthrough at some point, but I know you have limited time and you still have this series to finish with Drax, so it's all down to when/if you have time and inclination... As always, keep up the good stuff!

I had plans to showcase the Wild Tutor deck way back in the day, but I’ve had a lot of plans that haven’t played out so that’s just another one lol Sure I’d be happy to squeeze in a game with him! In fact I’ll even let you pick the villain. Who do you want to see him go up against?

@@GetUpandGame Call Barnes & Noble. Ask for “LAST CHANCE” sales on hero and scenario packs. MC fans/players can politely ask Customer Care to scan or look up each pack they have in store. The digital scan will determine yes or no on the discount. A lot of the packs are not marked with the sale price. Kang’s scenario pack was $10.

@@GetUpandGame Won two games in a row V Klaw. I’ve only been playing for 3 months and I’m not afraid to say Klaw’s tough. Small deck, with a ton of strong minions (guards and responses on the heavy hitters. I’m going to add or replace an Ally. I like running 43 cards in my deck. I need some more thwart assistance. I had plenty 4 left on his 8 scheme. I mainly want an ally for this to help with the Immoral Klaw Side Scheme. Thinking Spider-Man (Miles Morales). Note: I added two Med Team cards for contingency. I don’t want to lose counters

@@jerpanic1 I’ve been playing since day 1 and I’m not afraid to say Klaw is tough lol Miles is a great call! I don’t know what your collection looks like but I really like the protection Daredevil ally from the sp//dr pack to help with thwarting as well. He has 2 THW and 3 hp so makes for a great cheap thwarter. Brother Voodoo is fantastic as well!

@@GetUpandGame I defeated Klaw with Iron Heart. My third play with her. I told Nelson AOC’s she may have the best quality pre-designed hero pack. The allies are very strong. Two upgrades that MUST be put into play: Phonton Blasters Propulsion Jets Saved for the right time/hand (for requirement payment): Go All Out and Push Ahead Support: Ronnie Williams Ally: Brawn (with Hellicarrier and Ingenuity), especially during Version 2 and 3; saving cards for events

That’s a great suggestion! I’ve often thought of doing something like that, I just haven’t taken the time to implement it. I try to make things as easy on myself as possible lol so I can get videos out in a timely manner and I fear that would really jack up the editing time. Still, I could try it once and see how it goes!

@@GetUpandGame what you could do is have the game recorded with obs so that you can change things on the fly like a game counter and such with overlays

@@cirrusism ah yes, I could do that but the problem is I don’t record playthroughs through OBS. I use my phone as my camera so the video resides there. Which is nice because then I also edit on my phone which affords me a lot of opportunities to edit when I’m at work or out and about. When I record with my laptop then I have to edit it there as well so it takes longer for me to get it done since I have less time to be on my computer than I do on my phone. The downside is the editing options on my phone are a lot more limited. But it’s faster and simpler so that’s why I’ve really grown accustomed to doing it that way. I love the idea though! and I know of a way to do it even with my current setup, I just need to try it and see how much more time it adds to the process 😀
