Dre Greenlaw of the San Francisco 49ers suffered an injury during Super Bowl LVIII. Initially it was speculated that Dre Greenlaw suffered a knee injury however sources have confirmed it is in fact an Achilles injury. In my video I explain the Dre Greenlaw Achilles injury and talk about the recovery process.

Was he more at risk for an Achilles tear because of the softer playing surface that he practiced on all week?

It's because of all the steroids. You get bigger, heavier, and stronger, but your connective tissues stay the same. Hence why there are so many ACL tears, and non contact injuries in the NFL.

@dariengriffin6006 Steroids are common in the NFL. Estimates around 60-80%. I agree, an achilles tear doesn't automatically mean steroids. Maybe you're right... 5'11, 240lbs and running 4.6 repping 225 over 25 times like Dre Greenlaw is a just product of "hard work".

It's not turf it's Grass raiders use grass... He just was too hype to get on the field look at his toes he was out of control he did this to himself nothing to do with shoes or week of training
