I had Talar Dome surgery in 2012, and a procedure to stop my ankle ‘rolling’ (to the outside of the joint), and am looking at eventual replacement but didn’t know Tiger Woods had a similar complicated injury.
hi nick i am a snowboarder i am 25. last winter i had a traumatic shoulder injury dislocating it. i had since successfully rehabbed it and returned to snowboarding for the remainder of the season with no issues spent all summer in the gym strength training and going into this season felt 100% ready this winter however i've had 3 anterior dislocations not from impact of hitting the ground but just throwing the arm over my head in a twisty way. all of which in between taking a month the first time 2 months after the second I was able to get back strength using physiotherapy and returning to snowboarding and falling heavily and being okay (until the rapid throw of the arm) i am wondering what you think i should do as far as what surgery i should get. and if you had any idea what surgery Julius Randle had? i understand you are not a surgeon and haven't seen my MRI's so it may be difficult to determine an answer but just thought id try and see what you think as its 3:00 am and i cant sleep and am obsessing over my shoulder .... your videos are great !!!!
Just had this done 3 weeks ago. I’m 36 I shattered my calcaneus in a car accident June 2022. After first surgery. I had so much arthritis it was basically bone on bone when I walked. So my doctor did a subtalar fusion. I’m hoping to be somewhat normal again and pain free! I’ll keep you guys updated once I’m walking again
Yes please post an update. I had the same thing happen to me last November. Now I'm getting the plate and screws removed. I have a lot of nerve damage too. I was just told today the next thing I will need is a subtalar fusion from all the arthritis I have
I did not notice it during the match. This looks really embarrassing for De Jong. Like cmon man, you are paid millions and your ligaments / body is so weak that ball causes such a injury.. Embarrassing really. Unreal. SMH
I have a lateral ankle sprain that I've been dealing with for almost 2 years. I found out that my ankle is super loose and that there is a very good chance that I tore my CFL ligament. I was doing PT for almost a year and it didn't get better. So because of that I am needing to have surgery this Friday which is April 26.
Why to come in the way of Valverde.. Valverde is a machine, either he will break his leg or the opinion leg... Kids don't interfer when adult are playing
Tough for soccer players to reinjure the same ankle twice. When NFL players get high ankle sprains in real football, always makes me wary with their reinjury risk
@@saladevingers football has been played for centuries all around the world, in a lot of distant cultures. American football is another sport, worldwide if you say football it's Fifa football. If you're talking about nfl football you need to specify just as if you were talking about beach football otherwise everyone's going to assume it's football unless you're american. Anyway what could be expected from the nation that calls world series to a national baseball league
@@leonardoisidro939 the pain was so severe I demanded a CT scan. The scan revealed the nonunion and I had a second surgery scheduled within a week and a half.
Question Doc, is it possible with the massive budgets of a pro sports team, to monitor pitchers UCLs to pre-empt tears? Like would a monthly MRI detect the start of repetitive stress problem that could then be headed off at the pass? Or is it an out of nowhere injury that monitoring would either not detect the beginning of, or the technology with that type of sensitivity doesnt exist yet?
Great vid new to baseball but considering he one of the best in the game has there been any pitcher to come back from 2 Tommy Johns surgery and produce the same level as they used to I know his production gonna drop a lil but do you think if it is his 2 Tommy John you think he can come back half of what he used to be like a top cya youn winner
Justin Verlander has had three Tommy John surgery. And he won the cy Young the very first season after his third Tommy John surgery. And he was just as good if not better after his second. He's starting to fall off now, but that's not because of the surgery that's because of his age most likely period because the first season after surgery he was lights out. But pictures absolutely can come back after two Tommy John surgery and they absolutely can come back as good if not better.
