Thank you so much! Now driving Gran Tourismo on the PS5 with a Thrustmaster T500RS! It only worked after I got the controller connected. With the PS5 controller it didn't want to work.
Do you play gt7 or sport on the ps5 and is de game you playing a ps5 version or a ps4 on ps5 I have a t500rs to and don't want to buy a new wheel for a ps5 I like the t500rs set 😉
Nice video! The Godzilla like figure caught my eye, I had the same one when I was little but have never seen it elsewhere before! That must have been 35 years ago. I never really knew if it actually is Godzilla or a random monster. Brings back memories. I may want to use the hub for my own channel.

Thanks man awesome. I’m planning on ordering this just for my upcoming GT DD Pro for PS5. Because I already have the Thrustmaster TH8A shifter and TSS+ handbrake owned for quite a while on PC use. Planning on using both for GT7 with the Drivehub being a lifesaver. In terms of not having to dish out extra money on Fanatec only peripherals with DD Pro.

I found the Hori PS4 Mini game pad is not longer being made and hard to get hold of. Any other third party PS controller that is Sony licensed will also work. I got the Nacon PS4 wired compact controller and everything worked the first time on my PS5
Could I ask why it has to be that specific Hori controller. I did the same as you and bought one but I'm having a hard time getting it to work. I saw this video after I purchased one from Best Buy. Don't tell me this controller I bought won't work. lol. It's not the same as yours.
Hi Stunna, have also the DD Pro and an Aiologs shifter. I use these on the PS4. Received the Drive Hub today. Setup: The DD Pro goes into the controller port in PS mode (blue). No PS4 controller required. The wheel/controller port stays empty. Shifter goes into the accessory port. Possibly the same with the PS5?!
I received a Thrustmaster TMX Pro for Christmas, but also got Need For Speed Unbound for the PS5. Would the wheel work with that game using this method? Thanks.
Hi bud, I'm glad it's working for you. I believe you saw my video of it on how to connect drivehub to ps5 as there's only one from me at the moment. Just to ask when you press ps button while on game. Do you lose understeer effects ?
I think you may be over complicating this for your set up. If your wheel is already compatible with PS5, you should be able to plug the wheel into the controller port and your pedals into accessory. I don't think you need that hori pad.
@@stunnaracing I will try it out this weekend. I was looking for the tutorial that showed me how but could not find it today. It worked on the PS4 with T-GT and fanatec elite pedals. Since PS4 wheels work on PS5 I assumed that it still would.
@@stunnaracing I hear you. I just know i used to run it this way on the PS4 Pro and have not personally tried that set-up on PS5. I have not used my TGT for about a year. Been playing Forza on CSW V2.5 until I got my DD Pro which brought me back to GT. I do have the Hori Pad and I believe what you are saying. It just annoys me because I know it worked on PS4. Sony put in measures to force us all to use Dual Sense.
@@stunnaracing Hey, I finally got around to hooking up my T-GT and testing this out on PS5. I had the T-GT and Fanatec Elite Pedals hooked up to Drivehub. It didn't work at first, so I plugged in Hori Pad to confirm no issues with Drivehub and it was recognized. Then I remembered that the wheel needs to be plugged into the "controller" port, so I unplugged the Drivehub from PS5 and the Hori from the Drivehub. Then moved the T-GT to that port. Worked perfectly. Drivehub is getting the handshake data from the "controller" port. If your device is licensed, you do not need a second licensed device. I did not test this with GT DD Pro. I just didn't feel like unbolting everything from my rig. And please know that I didn't do this to challenge you or anything like that. I knew this worked on PS4 because that was the set-up I was using that generation. I was pretty confident that functionality would continue on PS5. If you say this doesn't work in your set-up I am not challenging that. I can only state my own experience. The key is having the wheel usb plugged into the controller port.
Glad to find ya broski. I’m looking to use my load cell Thrustmaster pedals with the DD Pro, any suggestions? They fit much better on my rig than the fanatecs. They have that RJ45 jack… no usb. :(
Might be a little late but it would be cool if you could answer this question for me. I have the same set up as you but i would like to add a thrustmaster sq. do i simply plug in it to the drivehub accessories and the rest on the base itself? (pedals) . Thanks bro
Someone in the comments said try using a USB splitter so you have more connections and see if it works... if that works ima holla at that guy and let him know

hey do you think you could test the drive hub with a controller and foot pedal only on fps games? my brother has limited dexterity in his fingers and im looking for a way he can play shooting games more easily. He can use the triggers and thumbsticks ok but can't jump or crouch so im thinking foot pedals mapped to (o) and (x) would be ideal. (we tried scuff paddles they re not ideal for his hands.)

Can you use a wired PS5 or wired PS4 controller if, on your PS5, you go to "Settings" --> "System" --> "Power Saving" --> "Set Time Until Controller Turns Off" and set the time to "Don't Turn Off"? The reason it might stop working after 10 minutes could be because the controller turns off because of this setting. Thanks.
Hey bro thanks for sharing this. I have the ts pc racer 488 ferrari thrustmaster wheel set and the tlcm pedals. I've had to put it away and went back to my g29 to use it on gt7 on the ps5. I'd love to no if the the drivehub will work for me. I'm in New Zealand so I have to order overseas for a drivehub, but I don't want to get 1 and it won't work lol. I have a hori controller already. So this is only if you use after market products from other venders from what I understand like the pedals you have for example? But no need to get the hub if you use all Fanatec products.
Hi I have a Hori Apex wheel and I have a question so the accesory thing for example I could connect the co pilot that is in the page that is says that is to connect pedals of truthmaster and shifters of logitech and more but if I want to buy both I put the co pilot or connect it and the I could connect My logitech shifter and could use both I have PS4 by the way

I read that the drivehub works with the ps4 and the ps5 and I can connect my fanatec csl dd in compatibility mode (PC-mode = yellow) to my ps4. It works with most of the ps games (like gt7). Additionally I need the HORI game pad for the stability of the connection between drivehub and ps4 otherwise it disconnects after a short time. My question: does it also work with my pedals? They are not listed on the manuel of "collectiveminds"? I am using the BJ steel GT load cell pedals. The connection Typ is an USB-port. Someone else tried to use the BJ steel gt pedals with the drivehub? Thanks for support and reply...
The HE Ultimate + Pedals will work if you use the control box that came with the original HE Ultimate (non plus) pedals. You will need to contact Heusinkveld and order the control box that came with the original Ultimate Pedal set. I had the same problem and I got the original control box and it worked. It will cost about $30.00 if I remember correctly.

I just bought the Logitech Driveing Force Pro for $30… But ain’t know that it’s a wheel from the PS2-PS3 days!!🤦♂️I thought I got a good ass deal, but now, I’m tryna figure out how to make it work for my PS5 & how to do this AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE!🤦♂️ bcuz, I ONLY GOT IT BCUZ IT WAS CHEAP $30, plus I ALREADY GOT A WHOLE RACING SETUP FOR MY PS5 & PS4 ( Thrustmaster T80 no ForceFeedBack but a cool beginner wheel) BUT I WANTED FORCEFEEDBACK SO I BOUGHT THIS OTHER WHEEL BUT I WILL HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY JUST TO GET IT TO WORK ON PS5🤦♂️ works on PS3 fine tho.. i think that drivehub only supports logitech, thrustmaster, and fanatec. should be able to mix and match those as long as you can adapt to usb on pedals/ shifter. i did have a problem with thrustmaster wheel and fanatec pedals with load cell on GT. issue is that GT does not have a deadzone adjust for the brake and my load cell was too stiff to get full travel. with fanatec wheelbase you can adjust it in fanatec settings. i think it would work fine if game has deadzone settings
Question is, does it work with the PS5 versions of the games as well? I read somewhere that the adapters can flawlessly work with PS4 titles but peripherals connected via adapters playing PS5 version simply stop working after 10 mins or so.
Good question yes it does I’m running it on the PS5 on my video. You NEED to get the Hori game pad I showed and linked in the description to get thru that licensing issue that cuts it off ever 10 minutes.

yes, you can combine anything they have listed as compatible on their website. They even have a conection guide wizard depending on what you are running
