My 2 week Openpilot driving tests with snow shows that the base model works better compared to lanless mode. Overall when the middle lane line is visible through the snow it does a perfect job. When city driving or on a highway with snow tracks it holds the car center of the road, but it doesn't feel as confident as with visible lane lines and time-to-time needs helping hand. But if there's no clear tracks in the snow car ocasinaly drives towards the edge of the snow, this is dangerous and needs steering corrections. Not so Chill but impressive because stock lane keeping assist doesn't work at all.
Comma Three | Comma Two:
Comma device is a piece of aftermarket hardware that plugs in to your car and is mounted to the windshield. It runs Comma.ai's custom software, Openpilot. Openpilot is easy to use and works similarly to your regular adaptive cruise control. Simply press a button on your steering wheel and It enables your car to steer, accelerate, and brake automatically within its lane; and it does all of this much better than your car's default stock system. Openpilot is similar to Tesla's Autopilot.
