Drought risk calls for speeding up old growth action 

This winter's historically low snowpack means that many parts of B.C. are in for a dry summer.
Now, more than ever, it is so important to remind our elected leaders that old-growth forests and forestry reforms are incredibly important for managing climate challenges like this one. Protecting old-growth forests and allowing lands damaged by industry to recover are key steps to help keep our communities safe from worsening climate impacts like drought, heat domes and wildfires.
We are calling on all levels of government to pick up the pace on conserving old-growth forests. Will you join us?
