You have no idea how useful this tip is to me right now. I managed to break not one, but 2 motherboards this way so seeing its like a 71 cent fix and can just be fixed is a massive relief to me.
Glad it was helpful :) They are a right pain to do if you're not that good at soldering like myself, but a little time and care , then you're good to go again :) I've not had ANY luck trying to sort out the newer style ones on the New 3DS and New 3DS XL though, those push in ones are vile to try and sort, urgghhh :(
I broke the clip for the touch screen initializer now it wont clamp down and my touch screen doesnt work. Is there a way to sodder the ribbon to it? i dont want to replace the whole thing.
