"You're a terrible person and a terrible player !" Calling somebody who beat you a terrible player is one thing, but calling them a terrible PERSON is on an entirely different level
Capcom developer: Okay, let’s make a bunch of fighters that are literally impossible to beat. Let’s make it where there is literally nothing you can do to fight them! Yeah, that sounds like an amazing idea! Also let’s drop Phil’s moves for some reason!
Pro-Tip for those who are at a match disadvantage against a character. You will always lose your bad match ups if you just bitch and complain that you can't do anything. You need to hit the books and go into training mode. If your opponent has a lot of advantages against you, you need to beat them in figuring out how to bait their moves and figure out which buttons you can punish on their whiff so you can open your gameplan in neutral. What moves from Guile are negative on hit so you can punish with the appropiate combo? Phil doesn't want to do work and wants to steamroll with his brain dead jab jab grab. The moment it doesn't work? He's free LMAO. Not once did Phil bait Guile to do a Sonic Boom to where he can get clean jump in. Always jumped in a Guile charging flash kick and eats it every single damn time. Never attempted to contest Guilt in neutral even when he had Guile in the corner. That Guile controled the pace of the match without having to do flashy shit. Basic fundamentals. All it took was basic fundamentals to fold Phil like a busted up chair. Some fucking Master he is. If you get beat by basic shit, then that's on you for being so easy to beat.
You're not wrong. The spread for LP in this game is actually pretty small between the characters compared to some of the older street fighters. There's probably bad match-ups in this game as it's an inevitability...but I've seen enough Blanka's washing Gweelays that it's clearly a skillgap with Phil.
I remember an old buddy of mine would whine and moan that He could never beat my Rose in SF4 cause every character he picked had a big disadvantage vs her. I finally had enough and laid into him and the guy was like "Why is it that no matter how hard I train I can never surpass you!" There it was. He was jealous of me over the fact that I was better than he was in a video game!
The day Philburt adjusts his style is the day the world ends. Dude won’t even tech a throw because he’s too busy trying to do whatever it is he wants to do 😂
@@torchlight1785 he is blocking, just his inputs are being dropped because of the gout lag... no skill!! undeserved!! pattern real life play bullshit!!
Phil’s ego was finally (in his kind) validated by reaching master level with one player through grinding. Capcom changed their rankings because people could grind up on levels even though their improvement was slow. That system helped make him feel like he was special for how good he was like when he said “another player said I’m good at the game dummies” when the guy reviewed his inputs. Now he goes to PlayStation thinking he will walk through everyone since he buys his own hype. Instead, he is being forced to grind for points and is constantly getting destroyed by good players because he won’t adapt or change anything about how he plays. In Phil’s small brain, him winning using those tactics means he should always wins if he uses them. Them beating him isn’t because they are good, it’s that the system is rigged or broken. Imagine a football team wins a playoff game with a heavy run game. The next week They run the same offense but the other team stacks the box and stops them every time but they keep doing it. Then when they lose, it the field, the players are cheating, our water was spiked. Luckily we get to laugh at the hubris he has over his skills but then how much he stresses himself over that unearned hubris
Ummm seriously dood? He’s never lost, it’s just this piece of shit game dropping his inputs! Seriously! He is so much better than all of these terrible players! They just guess and mash! Right?
Let’s be honest we probably all have called somebody a name in a game because we got outplayed or just beaten, but with Phil it’s constant insults against the opponent. He never admits to faults ever, everything is bull shit in his retarded head. So while I get getting mad at a player in a game, I can’t defend Phil at all when it’s constant. Phil needs to grow up and stop being a whiny bitch himself….
@@Ice-pe6vi idk which version he bought on Xbox, but that's roughly $60 there. Rn he's playing on Playstation 5 cuz most fighting games people are opting for the PS5 version like Mortal Kombat 1. To do that, he spent an additional $60 on SF6 again, $60 on a PS+ subscription, and roughly $300 for the fight stick. I believe he bought different buttons for his old stick as well so that puts it around $500 lol
I swear he should get people to make these videos for him I actually think he would get a lot of views for it. XD rage compilations are hilarious to watch
Woah!! Settle down Seagal.. I love that instead of playing the game, he would rather try and convince chat (himself) for 5 minutes that he's not a garbage scrub
Just a few hours ago I saw a comment of a guy basically defending Phil and saying that we are bullying him…just incredible, the mental gymnastics someone has to do to avoid seeing the true bully lol
And any decent FG player would respect the comeback, but of course Phil throws a handful of darts at the excuse board and calls them a scrub. What an awful human being.
i literally start cheering for the other person when they get those comebacks, i honestly dont even know why it just gets me so hyped to see them wipe him without even taking a hit 🤣
I guess that Chun Li player better pack it up and sell his stick. When Phil loses to you and deems your gameplay bad, it’s over for you in the FGC. The name DSP carries a lot of clout, Phil acts knows that that Chun Li is a better player than that wtf man not earned.
I’ve seen him saltier maybe, but I dunno if I’ve seen him be this nasty personally to his opponents. They could be some 12 yr old kid lol. He hates them personally and said so.
90% of his audience are trolls, another 9.9% are denthead wheelchairs, and 0.0000001% is someone who accidently clicked on Phail's stream searching for detractor khantent
"Full screen DRIVE IMPACT!" DSP's gameplan got downloaded so hard, the guy was able to DI him on reaction full screen, and DSP just did the slide thing and ate it 🤣🤣🤣
"I can't do basic combos. He just mashes jab through everything." That's his problem. He think you're supposed to *mash* the buttons when you're supposed to *press* them. Seriously, you can hear him absolutely abusing his joystick. Poor thing is probably busted.
Getting hit by jab-mash through what you think is a combo is an ugly reality check: it means you're not actually combining moves into each other this counting as a combo, if it were a combo, they can't mash through it. Experienced this a lot of times myself, it always feels bad.
I remember when Phil said a 14ms connection was too fast, that the game couldn't handle fast connection and messed up inputs, that it was better to play at 30-60 ms connection xD what a fucking baby
He's even accused the connection indicator of lying so that he can continue using poor connections as an excuse. Dude lives in his own version of reality.
DSPs commitment to the “khant blahk” bit is honestly impressive. Despite the game showing every punish/counter hit he STILL can’t help but spew that nonsense.
Bro wtf is his deal with trying to block full screen fireballs “on reaction” I’ve played tons of fighting games and I’ve never seen someone just stand still full screen trying to block “on reaction” like Phil.
I think he thinks pros wait till the last second to block. The more you watch him play the more you realize he doesn't try to predict his opponents. He talks shit about pattern players but you notice the moment his combo gets blocked or they start teching his grab spam he starts to panic. Phil is the definition of a flowchart fighter.
@@lawlessx9 I always baffled when he mention reaction, like his opponent is not reacting to anything or some shit. Dude most of the moves in the game is unreactable, and the basic of fcg is the read, the mind games. Imagine if everything is reactable, the game will be not fun to most people.
Bro DSP thinks he's so good at the game over grinding to master with the most fraudulent top tier he thinks anyone beating him is merely a fluke due to conditions outside anyone's control. This would be a little forgivable if he was any gracious in victory but no, when he wins he's just as toxic to his opponent.
Phil, the game is dropping your combos because you are mashing the inputs. You need to go in the lab, learn the correct timing, and stop mashing the input a dozen times per move.
He's so arrogant and self righteous, he expects everyone to hide in the corner at the sight of the DSPGaming username. Imagine if Phil got off his high horse and changed his username just to see if the game play changes. I guarantee loads of his competitors watch his salty spurgs after the matches 🤣🤣🤣
this whole stream even from taken damage in the first match his vagina was salty. every round and match he lost the excuse is: spam. luck. lag. random or unfair match up.
I’m commenting a lot on this video but what does Phil honestly expect Capcom to do with ‘random guesses’ moves? “Well you obviously guessed to do that move so we’re just going to drop your input.”
His excuses while playing SF6 have been great. He blamed lag, then he complains that there isn't enough lag. He blamed his buttons, then after switching them he blames the joystick. He spends $350 on a fightstick and then says he needs to get used to it. He's backed himself into such a corner all he can say now is that the game is ignoring his inputs.
@@psionoblast5379 See, out of literally everything you listed down, the excuse about not having enough lag never fails to piss me off. There ain't no fucking way he thinks his viewers are braindead enough to believe low ping could negatively contribute to a match. I remember seeing that in a clip and I was beyond dumbfounded. I had to rewind to make sure I wasn't hearing things.
@@Sheat101 but let's also not forget that his opponents are using online lag tactics. Which would never work in person with no lag. But at the same time he would lose in person cause there's no lag?
DSPig to English🥸: Guess random move = Mix ups Pattern = Combo Reactionary gameplay = Never block THE GAME dropped the move = Incorrect input LAHG!!! = 20ms Earned win = Loss Spam\Mash = Outplay No Blanka balls = LTG blocked me (God bless the people who spam him friend requests❤❤)
I once played the Rucksac JP guy. He is a bit annoying. I was up 2-0 against him and gave him his rematches. The moment he goes up one game over me, he left.
And when confronted he would run and lock himself in hotel bathrooms and cry like a autistic child . Just don't forget that he wasn't like 14 years back than, he was a grown 20 something year old guy that would max his credit cards and tour fgc events.
24:21 This dude is INSANE! He doesn't even see he's in burnout and then says she did a wake up level 3 super when she clearly did a. Drive impact, because he was burned out. He then. gets mad at capcom for taking his meter away? WTF?
Same at 13:30 he calls a wake-up OD Hazanshu with lvl 3 stocked against a burned out Blanka a "hail mary desperation move" when really she can just chip him out.
Hasn't gone back since.. that's his little consolation trophy; he can look to his Bwanka whenever he's getting completely wrecked on PS5 to be his binky since he's a fucking child..
Alright bros which Phil do you guys like more: Sf2 (switch edition) Phil Sf anniversary Phil Sf4 Phil Sf5 Phil Or sf6 phil Me personally I like sf4 Phil cuz that how I first discovered him and his fight with the Honda player was hood classic
SF2 Anniversary Phil is goated. We see the gradual descent of his fake nice guy attitude to being super fucking toxic, All culminating with him ducking matches from Gojitneks and Jose constantly LMAO. Just two randos consistently beating his ass who didn't know who Phil was until much after the fact. He was so toxic cause he was getting beat in a game he dedicated a chunk of his life too and he couldn't accept that he was not as good at fighting game anymore. By wandering online warriors who were just simply playing to have fun and not take shit too seriously.
"AHNLINE BULLSHEET! AHNLINE SCRUB! THA WOULD NEVAR WORK OFFLAHINE!" Phil! How tf would you even know? He hasnt played a game offline in nearly two decades!
The crazy part is, for experienced players like Phil ranked doesnt even really start until Master where you fight good players who punish you. He will never compete with them out of pure fear. He said he will get to master and move on to other characters to rank up.
Capcom knows Phil’s Ip and make his characters weaker then everyone else and his internet company slows down his internet when he’s winning just so he will lose!
@24:20 holy shit, he blames the game and thinking capcom is screwing him. "The game took away my resources" imagine if this game really screwing you over. i'd be laughing my ass off lol because capcom don't want you DSP
I remember a certain quote from Phil, something about having to be a good loser before you can be a good winner. This is the inevitable point of any game Phil plays. He plays long enough and suddenly he's a 'master' at it and everyone is playing wrong compared to him. Cause nobody should be allowed to hit the King. He made it to Master dammit! He shouldn't be getting folded by these Platinum scrubs, every hit has to be random and not calculated or predicted or that would hurt his ego. Further evidence that his master rank was a fluke. And every time he doesn't win it'sanother sign that it was. That's what this was all about. To prove he could do it again and it wasn't a fluke. That Guille basically read him like a book by the end. That's one of Phils worst problems, he is incredibly predictable, and what he's bad at fighting, he's SUPER bad. And his opponents pick up on it quick...... but that's not his fault, it's the games fault for not jumping right, or making bad inputs come out. It's never him making a bad input. It's definetly not because he panics and tries to do a 'counter super' which he'd call a 'random super' if it was from anyone else. Also love that he knows one combo..... one combo, and he still fails to do it properly. And the double KO... what such a rare occurence, and instead of having a bit of a laugh he just complains more and says the game is bad. Cause once he's a mood he never recovers from it. SHout out to the JP's. Absolute salt mines worth of salt due to them.
I had the tiniest sliver of sympathy for him at a couple points a while ago, cause I get it.. it sucks losing and we're all human, getting mad is normal. ...But he's just become so nasty about it. So out of touch with reality he claims the people who beat him suck, are terrible.. like have some fucking dignity.
