Yes i had loose spokes after 1000km. I tighteen all spokes up with half turn and after that are the spokes maitenance free. The wheels are good, only needs more maitenance as the previous models. The hubs and bearings-cant destroy them.
32mm vs 23mm profile? Which one do you prefer and why? Do you think that the weight matters or the advantage of taller height is better for speed? Thank you very much in advance.
Hi, the 32 mm rims looking better. Weigthwise they is 100 gramm difference to the 23 mm. No difference in speed :-D. I ride in wery windy region and for me are slimmer rims better as the hight rogallos! This rims are only nice,,, You have the advantage only on hight speeds ...50 or more kmph. When you want only training or cycling for fun, then you are good with 23 mm rims. When you want race, you need lighter higher karbon rims.
@@pukysonschannel777 Thank you for your response. Probably i shall go with the E1800 just for increase of the inner rim width (20mm internal). It will give me the choise of using wider tyres in the future and why not in a gravel terrain. The profile as you correctly said is advantage only to the higher speed and since i will install them in a mtb converted to hybrid bike it is very difficult reaching that speed(50km+) in flat terrain only downhill. Aero resistance is crusial. Thanks once again mate.
I use similar wheels from DT Swiss for years now. The hubs are going for thousands of kilometers with no issues. I want good loking high quality training wheels and get them with this pair. Cant say anything wrong abot this wheels. The hubs are great. I cant tell the difference about this 380 hubs vs 350 vs 240. The wheels are super stable after 1500 km now. When you get discont, buy it. They are great.
Yes, when you have the money, definitive ,,yes,, the 350 hub is amazing and long lasting, but the 1800 with 370 do the job wery well and are easy to maintain.
