You gotta have bank vaults full of cash to sell sampled music. This is like selling dreams to poor people. I'm a realist now after making music and selling music. You want to sell your music and make money? Are you making music in your bedroom? Use all the commercially released track samples you want in your music, just don't expect to have the funds you need to clear the samples. Use vst's like NI session horns, funk guitar and read the copyright rules. Use vocal sample packs but read the copyright info to insure they can be used commercially. It takes a lot of hunting for stuff that isn't crap. Be prepared to be the lowest end of the totem pole. Be prepared to make $250 for a track sold to a licensing and publishing company. Keep in mind they will ask you for revisions. Buy the time your done you could have spent 3 weeks work for $250. Isn't it strange that the person who makes the music that hypes people to buy the car, the cereal, the Gatorade is actually the least important!

John Bissonnette so your saying buy the lastest samples packs to be relevant into just get your music out there, but manipulate on some sort of way where there isn't any copyright infringement?

I wouldn't say buy the latest sample packs. I make a lot of my own vocal samples. A good sample can make a song great but if you get busted for copyright it would really suck. My point is be very aware that this guy in the video can afford to pay the clearance fees. Most bedroom producers can't.
