Episode No. 3 of the Motovlog: Full in-ride owner’s review of the 2023 Ducati Monster 937.
Come with me on a beautiful fall ride while I discuss this fantastic motorcycle. I will start by talking about the history of the Ducati Monster, beginning with the original M900 with trellis frame.
I will then talk about the design changes associated with the new Ducati Monster introduced in 2021. I’ll fill you in on all the key specifications and features that set this bike apart. Most importantly I will give my ownership perspective on this bike, including pros and cons.
Finally, let’s talk about whether this bike can be a good motorcycle for beginners. What do you think?

How..?? You have no experience.. stick to under 400cc for a few years first.. Don't you need to pass training first..?

Good vid, i've also got a G310 and am thinking about getting the 937 aswell, you surprised me when you said you had started on the 310. Hope the Ducati is going well.

Thank you! I still love riding the Ducati every time I take it out. My favorite thing about the G310 was its nimble handling - the Monster is very similar.

Hey man, great video really like your reviewing style and delivery of words. Can I ask where in the States this is? It looks absolutely beautiful, kinda reminds me of the English countryside.

Thanks for the nice feedback! I am riding in northern Maryland - a lot of farms and horses up here. The southern parts of the state are more developed and not as fun to ride. Eastern and western Maryland are also nice rides, so I hope to do more of those in the spring/summer. Where in England are you based?

@@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles Thanks man, yeah it looks like a beautiful place to ride. I'm a Londoner but spend a lot of time in the countryside - particularly in the Surrey Hills, keep the Monster content coming.

With all changes from the last gen Monster (specifically the 821), this bike lost almost 40 lbs (frame, wheels, etc). The Panigale had a trellis frame at one time as well...don't recall seeing people getting bent out o shape over that🤔

Great point! The Monster was always meant to be a naked version of Ducati's current sport bike. It would have been strange to change the Panigale frame while keeping the Monster frame the same.

@@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles Not really, the original monster was the supersport engine in an old gen superbike frame (851). Only the liquid cooled ones (s4, s4r, s4rs) were the naked versions of the current sport bikes - but still on the old frame. That branch eventually became the streetfighters and at the same time ducati released the "modernized" monster that lost all the good looks (from the 696 on, in 2008)

Does this engine have an oil cooler ,??, cause o know this same engine is in the Multistrada V2, and the front beak has the cooler. 🤔

No oil cooler, just a radiator.

@@Dr.MichaelsMotorcycles I'm in Berkshire, fairly rural but landscape feels tiny compared to the States. The Missenden Flyer has a good channel he's not far from me similar roads, in general British roads in a bad way, the tarmac / asphalt is terrible even on major roads. Roads in Maryland look amazing.
