I was making my way up the road past the Mini dealership (away from the roundabout) the other day, the road was dampish and I stepped right to go past a white van in front and the back wheel slipped sideways on the white lines (too much power dumped to the back wheel), luckily the traction control corrected for me but it just goes to show that if you are a fair-weather rider and not used to damp roads, it's a bloody good idea to ride cautiously.
