Duck with apples in beer 🍗🍏🍺
1 duck (2-25, kg)
salt (to taste)
black pepper (to taste)
50 g honey (1.8 oz)
1 loaf of borodino bread
500 ml light beer (16.7 fl.oz)
4-5 apples
20 ml soy sauce (0.6 fl.oz)
20g butter (0.7 oz)
🍗Prepare the duck.
Wash, dry, cut off the abdominal fat.
Cut off wings at first joint.
Remove esophagus, goiter and neck and sebaceous tailbone glands.
Soak the duck in boiling water for 1 minute, drain and finely pluck the feathers.
Rub with salt and pepper and leave in the fridge for 10 hours.
Rub the duck with 1/2 part honey and leave at room temperature for a few hours.
🍏 Peel the skin from the apples, cut the apples into small pieces.
Stuff the duck with the apples, sew up the duck.
🍞Slice the bread into 1-1,5 cm thick slices.
Put apple peels and bread in the bottom of the tin.
Pour the beer over the bread.
Put the duck on top of the bread.
Cover with lid, send to bake in oven at 375F for 1 hour 40-50 minutes.
🥣Prepare the sauce.
Mix the oil, remaining honey and soy sauce.
🍗Remove duck from oven and brush with sauce.
Increase the oven temperature to 400F and put the duck in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Take the duck out and remove the string from the duck.
