It's official... S.V. Lee Hawk finally gets a brand spanking new, traditional hand painted sign with 18 kt gold leaf gilding! We were lucky enough to get connected with Jenna from www.jennapaints.com, who stopped by the casita and showed how she creates stunning hand painted signs. She walks us through the entire process including laying down the pounce pattern, applying the gold leaf, hand-turning the gold leaf gilding, and painting the lettering. We love how the new wooden signs really dress up the back of the boat!
