That last LeBron dunk was wild. He did all that while the dunk being a semi tomahawk jam😂. He definitely could’ve taken a step behind the free throw line
Man being able to take off like that, off of one foot is just incredible. What a difference maker knowing you could YAM from just inside the free throw line or corner
@@BenTroxell bro plenty of dunks are from 2 feet, all I am saying is it’s amazing that you can be straight up running and then leap like a deer from one leg, so high into the air. It’s just insane power to imagine!
@@MarMaxGaming You cant dunk far with 2 feet since you dont have momentum. Adding to that, many people get higher elevation from one leg because of that momentum.
@@gangalangatang brother, I understand what long jump looks like and all that… the point is, it’s easier for a lot of to gather with 2 feet from near the rim than single leg planting from the damn free throw line.. it looks like they’re at Sky Zone!
The 90s/00s clips reminded me of how much more satisfying the sound of a dunk was back then, because of the no-give rims. It was so satisfying to hear Vince or Mike or Shaq get up there and throw it down.
That LeBron dunk is the most underrated dunk ever, it's so filthy and almost no one knows about it, also it seems there's no good quality footage of it available either.
MJs dunks all look so effortless. That LBJ at the end was super impressive. But my award goes to Tom Chambers looking down at the rim with the two hand stuff over Mark Jackson.
Young LeBron still had some room for that last dunk, ball is still way above the rim when he dunked it. I'm sure he could have dunked even further. Insane
@@kluemenadi if you knew basic geometry, you would realize he was a foot length inside from the CORNER of the box. If you drew a line from there to the hoop, and then shifted it straight toward the freethrow line, he'd prob be midfoot on the line at least. just google a^2+b^2=c^2, I'll make it easy for you
Most of the longer dunks have guys really slowing down mid air and just about finishing them but Lebron at the end flys past the basket after the dunk. Absolutely insane.
On lebrons dunks you could tell he couldve jumped from further because on each one he remains in the air till hes almost out of bounds while other guys are stretching out barely reaching the front of the rim. It just goes to show how much he held back to preserve his body. Kobe had one 2 footed dunk from just behind the dotted line with no running start. It didnt count though because of a foul just before he took off.
The audio from the previous clip carrying over into the next one is such a simple but effective editing technique; props, this was really entertaining.
I remember Pippen did a free throw line dunk back in a Chicago game... And the refs let him take an obvious 3 step travel to set it up... It was very similar to his dunk contest free throw line dunk. What I'm saying here fellas, the deepest NBA game dunk isn't in this video. Because I bought the Pippen shoes after he did it back in high school lol.
I was thinking why does that Josh Smith clip look old as hell, then I seen Tyron Lue was the one passing him the ball and said yea that shit is old af lol
I had money on Pheonix for the game when Gordon had the dunk at 3:47. I had to turn off my phone, I was like "ain't no way I just lost my bet and had my guy end up on ESPN 😂"
I knew which dunk was going to be last. And to think, LeBron could have taken off even further on that dunk. His head was still at rim height when he threw it down. Crazy.
MJ jumped from distance while also doing an aerial display and finishing with 2 hands. So much harder to do versus just extending one arm and finishing with one.
@@tysontenney804 this is one of the only comments near the top about mj, every other comment says similar things about other dunks, yet you only reply to this one... seems that hes not the one that loves mj around here
It will happen one day. It will probably be Giannis, and he'll have his whole foot behind the free throw line. Gotta say though, looks like LeBron did have at least the back part of his foot on the line on that last one. Crazy sauce
Josh Smith: I miss those days Jr Smith: having a moment as usual lol Lebron James: catch it on the run like a slot receiver Aaron Gordon: jumping off both feet is just different. Super lit video🔥🔥🔥
3:49 was hopefully called an offensive foul. The slight movement by Shamet does not offset the fact that he was there well in advance and Gordon went into him.
Be Kareem and dunk gently, especially when you are very tall. No big deal when one is tall and one can dunk. On the contrary, when one is a Spud Webb, then a dunk is valuable.
A few of these were pretty crazy but typically it's not that impressive to see 6'6" or taller athletic guys dunking a basketball. I suppose to the average 5'9" guy who'd be lucky to get 18-20" off the ground it all looks pretty impressive. To me guys like Spud Webb, Allen Iverson or even Mac McClung dunking a basketball is way more impressive that watching Kobe Bryant or Lebron James
