Dustwind 2019 - Post Apocalyptic Strategy Role Playing Campaign! 

Splatty drives me nutz, I see it coming. He never uses quick slots, or, like on this occasion, uses the "loot all" button. Every. Single. Time. he's going the hard way, ignoring obvious game mechanics or ways to make the games more convenient. It's amazing. Back in the days I thought that is because he is a small youtuber and has to adjust to playing for an audience, but since then he got quite big... he didn't get better and plays the same way as he begun. At least THAT is consistent...

I think game that you want to compare Dustwind is Fallout tactics , which Dustwind is some sort of spiritual successor

It's modern day Fallout Tactics. Too bad multiplayer base is kinda low :( I hope you covering this game on the channel brings back some life to the game.

This looks interesting. I'm an old school Fallout player from way back. I prefer single player games, and SO many big titles are marketed to the multi-player crowd with little to no thought of a campaign. This game might be called Dustwind but I think it's a breath of fresh air.

I love games like this and definitely wouldn’t mind another episode. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of Underrail or ever featured it on the channel before, but that’s another pretty decent top-down with some cool mechanics and stuff.

I was going to get this during Steam sale, but decided not to do so because it still didn't have single player campaign at the time.

This seems like Fallout Tactics or Wasteland if it were made/copied by somebody on Newgrounds.

Pretty sure Winded = Out of stamina. I would think it would slowly regenerate.

Would like to see more of this, one more episode to get a better idea. While I like the premise, it feels quite rough around the edges. I want to see if it gets better, or even rougher as the campaign progresses.

The graphics and artwork remind me of Atomic.

The narrator in the cinematic kinda reminds me a little of the one in The Darkest Dungeon, only pitch shifted a few tones higher.

Hey Splattercat , you always forgot to loot the dead bodys, you missed some of them sadly. I liked this episode and video, do definitely some more videos about this game, i would watch them with pleasure :)

[2:45] Splatty, I proudly count myself as a member of the greater nerd castle denizenry(sp?) precisely for irreverent moments like this. I just wanted to advocate for the term "rape the hell out of" where applicable. And I totally admit this one's super-complicated because, like, recreational violence characterized by severe-to-life-threatening organ damage and/or loss of one or more limbs for the target - getting all technical about the procedural specifics could seem way, way beside the point. But I believe it adds texture, and as a fan I value that.

A single-player campaign? This is excellent, I thought the developers decided to leave this game multiplayer.

Hmm.. This is such a game that I kinda like but will not buy.. Maybe next year when it is a few bucks on sale just to add it to my library... But thank you for showing it.

I enjoy your videos. Been a member for a while now. I have a question though. Why do you care how long your videos are? I mean it's good to have a rule of thumb like my videos should be X long but if you're having fun go for it. it's good to break the rules once in a while.

For me, the edges are a bit 'too' rough. This is a game that is trying desperately to appeal to a very specific niche market. Seems a functional enough game while also deliberately limited to maintain it's own perceived genre.

We seriously need a new platform.
