As a puertorrican, I'm ashamed as to how my own people act against performers in this magnitude. Every wrestler that has performed in the Island, especially if they were heels, they have terrible and horrendous stories about us. And I don't blame them. Many of us have been driven by ego, which is why our Island is still stuck in the rut that it is. And I feel bad for it, because I love my homeland. I want to see it thrived once more. But us as people, we need to do better. Thank you Rick

Honestly, from what I've gathered from different interviews of wrestlers whove spent a good amount of time in PR is even though the crowds were rowdy and there was an atmosphere of real danger back then, I've never heard these experiences told in a negative light. I don't recall many, if any, wrestlers who didn't like working there. I believe that the wrestlers love the "heat" and the passion of Puerto Rican fans. That's my takeaway at least. Of course, there was good money to be made then as well -- which never hurts! :)
