DWI Uncooperative I-30 Mabelvale Little Rock Arkansas State Police Troop A, Traffic Series Ep. 349 

This may not make this trooper well-liked in some circles but I applaud his no nonsense demeanor. We need more of it!

That’s exactly how police should be handling these punks. This country has become way too soft on criminals and they’re not facing the necessary consequences for their actions.

This is how it should be done every time. I would love to see this Trooper with 'sovereign citizens' .

The fact that troopers conduct business on the side of the highway is dangerous enough...lucky to have them out there keeping the public safe.

My suspicion is, the Lt and Capt are USMC, the way they carry themselves and walk with commitment!

It is like liatening to a parent telling a child to do something. But in this case this officer is dealing with a grown manchild .

LT Brown…hears a trooper that’s been around the block. Notice how he took his time approaching the vehicle, waiting for backup. Took minimal effort to remove the driver from the vehicle and controlled the situation from start to finish. Nice job LT.

Trooper is calm and direct at all times. All Arkansas State Troopers do their job very professionally.

For the record, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Arkansas State Patrol and other police agencies. Arkansas law enforcement aren't afraid to do their jobs. They don't fool around and don't feel the need to negotiate with criminals. I'm not criticizing other jurisdictions. Arkansas clearly has people in power who fully support their law enforcement. I wish every jurisdiction did. 100% support the Blue.

This is the first time that he's been held accountably for any of his actions. He'll appreciate it more after court fines, attorney fees, and towing charges.

I drove all the way across Arkansas last weekend and I had no police issues what so ever, it was a beautiful place with friendly people. I wonder why my experience was so different? :)

As a Mexican American , I'd like to say Thank You to Lt. B. Brown, Capt. J. Sheeler, Trp. J. Shumate for taking this "individual" off our roads and keeping all of us safe. This person is what gives the rest of us "bad names" and stereotyped because of his stupid actions. He could've have wiped out a family on that highway if he had not been pulled over and stopped. These troopers are former United States Army Drill Sergeants!! They were totally professional and retained control of the situation at all times...typical of today's Army Soldier! I'm pretty sure they guys were also Infantry Soldiers (11 Bravo)! Thank you for your service in the Army and State Police!! HOOAH

That officer had more patience then I would of ever had in his position. I also heard the officers discussing whether or not he had to get rough with the guy to get him out of the the truck and in my opinion, the officer wasn't rough enough. He was ignoring a command and interfering with the officers duty and safety and for that matter, he was putting the public in danger because no one knew if he was armed, if he might try and run ect. He was a menace and a threat to those around him and should of been charged as such. I'm a 64 year old woman and feel those officers were way to easy on him and thats not something I say or see very often. When that officer seen him running that red light I'm amazed that he didn't cause death and destruction to those around him. I feel if someone has no regard for my life or those around me they need to be charged to the fullest. Running a red light at that speed with a 3000 pound bullet is really worse then a real bullet because it can kill a lot more people in a shorter time and never have to take aim.

Even as a New Yorker, IMO Arkansas Troopers are some of the best in the country, I truly enjoy watching them in action, they impress me more and more with every video! - they are excellent drivers, honorable, respectful and they care deeply about public safety.. the epitome of "Protect & Serve" Great job y'all! 👍🏼

I think most officers want to do a good job. It pains me that people are looking for any mistake they may make to paint police in a bad light. The perp being arrested has as many chances as they want, it seems, to finally comply. How did we get to this point?

All Officers/Troopers need to be like Lt. Brown. This is how effective police can be when they are backed by their local government. The ASP is definitely one of the top agencies in the country. Whoever trains these guys needs to be consulted by other departments.

Very dangerous stop, driver chose to stop at the worst spot possible. Trooper can get hit by a car or crushed between the pickup and the barrier. I wish people would stop pulling over at spots like this.

It's amazing to see the traffic staying away from this stop. Here they would be rocking the stopped vehicles when they flew by.

Arkansas troopers must be trained differently than the rest of the country. Their no-nonsense approach is so refreshing.

That’s the way to handle these punks. It’s all they understand is strength. They will try to walk all over you, if you let them? These fine ASP officers aren’t playin their games. ASP needs to set the limiter on the body cams. The mic is being overloaded and hitting the limiter, hence the choppy audio.
