The GOAT debate better end after what has happened man... I think we just need to learn to appreciate Kobe, Lebron, Jordan, for what they did to the NBA instead of just wasting our time over saying, "Lebron better", "Kobe that", "MJ was this", etc and just appreciate their greatness.
@ Playing basketball at that level is much harder than what you made it out to be. Anything can sound silly when you say it like that. For example: Meathead goes to the army, does a couple pushups, shoots a couple people, comes back home and starts bitchin. Do you see how silly I made it sound when in fact it is a very dangerous, honorable and respected profession
I'm happy with the fact that he's involved in this video and came there to represent a family figure to Kobe, even I do have the number "3" jersey of him for The Miami Heat in my bedroom
Been a fan of this SG matchup. Hats off to DWade for being one tough competitor for Kobe. It's just unreal man. This hurts more than a breakup geez. Rip🕊 🐍☹️😔
Breaking up was never hard for me right up till now but man I can’t breakaway from my idol! Rest easy Kobe Bean Bryant! Hero’s come and go but legends live forever!
The re-affirmed message to me , Charles "Hop - A - Long" Barkwell reads thus : Don't forget James 4 : 13 - 15 and yes, it's good that you implemented St. John 3 : 3 - 6 on June 25, 1980. Viet-Nam Era Veteran Long Beach , CA. ( Southern )
Amen. My hope and prayer for all is that if we all pass away, Our entire hearts will be surrendered to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Nothing more important in this world than Salvation and The power of love that comes from God when it is in our hearts. I still can’t speak on Kobe’s death. It doesn’t seem real, but I’m praying for His family, that God will give them assurance and true peace during these very hard times. Hurts so much .
That era with Kobe, Wade, and LeBron as the 3 best players in the league is my favorite era. Every game they were in was must-see. Highlight reel plays every game
Stfu! I paid my respects to everyone already not that you would know that. Go crawl back to your cave. I'm from L.A. you and no one else has the fcking power to tell me how to mourn. Get over YOURSELF you absolute waste of flesh. How about you go find a way to mind your fcking business instead of trying to control my emotions, thoughts or healing process? You will leave a skid mark on earth like all soulless mongers do. Let that sink in.
kenny kliff Kobe inspired so many people to not only play basketball but to keep pushing forward and that you shouldn’t stop reaching your goal. So saying he wasn’t a great guy would be one of the largest understatements I’ve ever heard.
Lol right! You know what is great about this story. Kobe new what he was doing. He saw wades talent & competitive drive. He knew that sentiment would go a long way. Damn he was a legend.
yet again i am proven right. Wade embarasses himself again at the NBA slam dunk contest. POS. Guy should be popped and taught a lesson. lol no wonder his son/daughter is a transgender at 12. terrible parenting
I have never seen Shaquille O’Neal cry 😭 when he started crying I couldn’t stop I mean I just been crying and crying and crying and crying just can’t believe it I don’t sleep I never slept anyway but now I don’t sleep at all since this tragedy this has devastated everybody in the world even people that’s not even sports fans it’s devastated. God help us all My password was Kobe Bryant I love Kobe Bryant will never get another one like him When they said who’s your favorite Sports athlete first one Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan second R.I.P. 🙏🏾Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant And the other family that always on the helicopter
D-Wade spoke straight truth. I was at work when I read the ESPN Article and I just started crying. That night, I went to the K-State Rec to lift and try and work through the pain. I remember I burying my head in my arms on the barbell after crushing a disgusting bench set. People came over and put a hand on my shoulders, arms, and back. They stood in silence and but in support. And they cried too. This man was and still is a legend. Look I’m 27, 6’8”, 225lb. I don’t even like basketball, the sport, watching it, playing it. It’s just not fun to me. But Kobe was a role model and inspiration to me because of his character, personality, class, and work ethic. He exemplified everything that I, as a depressed, bullied, unmotivated pubescent adolescent wanted to be but couldn’t understand why I couldn’t or find out a way to, be. Until I learned to live like him, and become a greater me, for me, not for someone else. RIP Mamba
Being a Heat fan, I remember the Lakers with Shaq and Kobe coming to town and the arena was packed. Wade was a rookie or in his 2nd year and they blew us out, but I appreciated how great Kobe was. May G-d bless his soul and all of those lost in this horrific accident. Don't hold grudges and make sure to tell your loved ones you love them every day. No one is promised tomorrow.
As a fan in LA, I took for granted that Kobe was my guy to always cheer for, and when he was at the twilight of his career, like many others, failed to see the beauty in the everyday effort he was giving to the city and the art of basketball and complained about how many horrible shots he took instead. Even then, he just felt so invincible and so driven, and a part of me honestly still can't that he's left us. We must appreciate what is here for us today, as nothing is a given. And, I hope that everything he's displayed - the mamba mentality - continues to live on through all of us. RIP #24
Maybe we dont deserve kobe.. All of his career we compare him to mj and lebron.. This is eye opener for the fans.. Just appreciate them until we can coz we dont know hat will happen next
Not having a father figure, I look up to these great inspirational athletes and other figures, but I just felt a great connection with Kobe. Watching greatness, seeing the Mamba mentality in action. It was awe inspiring and emotional, compound that over the years, and Kobe becomes like fam. I feel like I lost a brother. R.I.P KOBE.
LeBron James and the Lakers honor Kobe Bryant in emotional pregame ceremony "We're all grieving. We're all hurt. We're all heartbroken. But when we're going through things like this, the best thing you can do is lean on the shoulders of your family," he said
THE BIG MAN IS IN SO MUCH PAIN THIS IS SO HEART BREAKING. LIKE MY MOTHER USE TO SAY MAY SHE REST IN HEAVEN AS WELL... "HERE TODAY GONE TOMORROW" I FEEL FOR ALL OF THEM ITS HARD WHEN U LOOSE SOME ONE U LOVE SO MUCH.
Shows how life is real and short quit playing because these grown men shedding real tears for a colleague they respected and love we are all human 💞💞💞love hard be real
Kobe Bryant was a legendary human being and player! He continues to be an inspiration for so many even after his tragic death. May he and all those who passed on that terrible day continue to Rest In Peace. Sending my continued prayers to the Bryant family and all the other families who lost someone that day. God bless. 🙏🏻🙏🏻💜💛🖤
it still doesn’t seem real. when it comes up on the news about “kobe bryants death” i’m just like wtf is this how am i seeing this right now it’s just crazy.
Hannah Welch That is exactly how I feel! Every time I even think "Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash", I feel like I'm just thinking about a random idea that didn't really happen.. I can't make this real in my head like wtf..
Dwyane's my favourite player of all time, him and Iverson. Man growing up Kobe was always matched up against them, and I hated Kobe when I was younger, but growing up you learn to respect him. Yeah, Kobe's gonna obliterate your team, but, your respects there. Gigi, Kobe, to everyone who fell, RIP and thank you. To his wife, we all wish you well. Everyone's just so broken right now....
2016 all stars I was there Dwade. I saw you rip Kobe. And MJ gave an award to Kobe. To me all the dots connected during the 2016 all stars at toronto. You are right. We cannot forget Kobe's tenacity. We live on what he has shared to the world.
We need to appreciate we live in a era where we had many legends. We need to start appreciating their presence and their impact on not only the organization but us.
We need to stop encouraging GOAT debates It’s pointless; especially now.....objectifying players who grind their asses off to be the best versions of themselves And we take it for granted debating them like objects rather than people
I agree its gotten stale cuz of all the sports debate talk shows, but that's never going to happen. The nature of competitive pro sports, especially basketball where players directly guard and play each other, is to compare greatness with greatness. It's in the DNA of sports and that's not going to change because of a tragedy. Appreciate the greats but don't stop being a sports fan because of a tragic death. Life will continue.
"Life can change so fast, so unexpectedly. Love when you can, while you can, as much as you can." ~ Mandy Hale ~ Thoughts, love and prayers to each and every single family member impacted by this horrific tragedy. 💔🙏
Everyone got they're most favorite rivalries back then in the league but watching my favorite player go against Kobe was the best feeling ever, going basket to basket, Flash going against the Mamba, warriors on the court and brothers at the end of the day, back in the day I used to be so mad at Kobe cause he used to school Wade alot of times and was so happy to see Wade get back at him, those moments I will always cherish in my life man. Watching Wade idolise Kobe is so close to heart knowing Kobe would of done the same thing if he had to ever talk about Wade's game, true brothership and respect till the end.
Kobes death brought a lot of people together and made them realize how special life is and how special everyone around you is. RIP Kobe and everyone else that was lost on that helicopter.
*Haven’t seen someone’s death affect this many people since MJ But this is worse because of the circumstances, this hits home because kids are involved*
This is a special season of NBA, start with the collapse of the GSW 💔😕, Kobe death 😢 ,David Stern 😢,and Lakers comeback 😢, Celtics comeback, zion effect 💥⚡❤, and many talents are entered the NBA
@@tbagspecialist8497 I'm talking about this season as u know our stars they are out of this season and also we still miss Durant Pts and we need a good center
@@the83rdtrombonist60 true, i think there is no any player that can beat a prime shaq. Allen Iverson's top 5 of all time are... Pg-Curry Sg-Kobe Sf-MJ Pf-LeBron C-Shaq
Kobe lebron and Jordan were all transitions throughout basketball as one came in one left and someone will follow lebron. Theyre all greats in their way. Kobe was different not just on the court but outside it. Rip to the mamba.
I feel terrible for those guys who was close to him and knew him personally. He definitely had a huge impact on the world. Which is amazing for simply just being a basketball player..If you listen to his interviews over the years you can see why people have grown so close to him without ever meeting him. I wasnt alive when elvis died but I can imagine it affected alot of people like this situation. His family should be proud of what he accomplished in his short life and how many people cared for him. It's sad what happened and the horrifying situation they were in. But they are feeling no pain and are at peace now. Rip everyone..
My memory of Kobe was my Uncle Lin taking me to my first Spurs vs Lakers game. It was just the best thing ever the Spurs won a ring that year and I got to see my Spurs go up against the lakers. Growing up the spurs were my dad's and I favorite team and still is so to grow up and watch those 2 teams battle to get to the Chip. Then years later I was able to go the staples arena to watch them play before Kobe's retirement, I was blessed. Thanks Kobe for being a great competitor.
