Dying Light Angry Review

The "story" is meh, but the "atmosphere" the "plot" is amazing, then the mechanics and gameplay is the BEST zombie game we currently still have, years later.

Crazy how good dying light actually is, its 2020 and I am having a hell of a time replaying it.

Let's be honest... the game is still good

I honestly think that Dying Light deserved a higher score than a seven, I mean it's a true breath of fresh air as a zombie game.

I feel like the only person that's fucking sick of zombie bullshit. Everywhere you look, zombies! Tv zombies, movie zombies, video game zombies. All people have to do is paste a zombie into it and it sells like hot cakes. Why? Seriously, why? Why are zombies so fucking popular? I've never understood it, they aren't very scary anymore. The zombie apocalypse is the most overused plot of all time. Second only to the government is secretly bad. And on numerous occasions they are blended together. It's a sad day for gaming when nearly all we have to look forward to is another military shooter and abother zombie apocalypse.

This game will make you feel so happy about the sun rising, you'll think it's crazy.

The Last of Us was the last interesting and overall incredible Zombie game. The story was fantastic, the gameplay the great, the characters, the environments, the challenge, EVERYTHING was great. Plus the Cordyceps are way cooler than zombies, and make a bit more sense.

With the baby zombies if you go up to them it prompts the action to calm them down. Where you gently strangle them and go shhhh shhhhhh shhhh.

*Spoiler alert* The only thing I hated about this game is when you had that bottle of antizin from the antizin crate and burned it all but you took 1 vile from it, that part was extremely dumb and served no purpose, (at least in the story line, I didn't do side quests) especially when there was a time it could of served a purpose, remember when you and Jade were trapped with Virals and Rais gave you a injection thing with a antizin bottle in it? YOU COULD'VE SAVED BOTH YOU AND JADE WITH THAT EXTRA ANTIZIN YOU HAD. They just killed of a character that could've served more purpose in the game.

Seriously, Joe is just one man. Everyone is different!!! This game might be 9/10 to one person or 5/10 to another. I usually look at three reviews to see if I would like the game. just finished it 5 years later and it impressed me. Loads of fun with the parkour and messing around with zombies!

This game is so underrated. The zombies at night are scary and you try to avoid them, yet you want the loot, but it’s really risk, and nothing can recreate the feeling of being chased by something that’s so deadly and just slightly faster than you, so you know you have to get to a Safe zone ASAP. And In the day you slaughter and gather loot, and I love the hunter to hunted concept. Easily an 8-9 and the game is still being updated to this day! This review is the only one i’v seen a problem with from Joe.

Now its at least 8.5/10, it's a good game it has 91% positive reviews on steam, trust me if you didn't play this game do it.

There's the problem with your channel. Your name is AngryJoeShow, which means your videos have to include anger.. And when you run out of things to be angry about, you have to look to things that don't really make you angry and try to convince yourself that they do. Dying Light may have borrowed things from other games and may be "just another zombie game", but it's still really fucking fun to play. Talking about cliches like they're always a bad thing.... If you want a game that is based on something which has already been done before then you're going to get cliches. Simply put, and as it goes with any sort of game/genre, if you like zombie games you will like Dying Light. If not, don't bother with it.

Personally, I'm really loving Dying Light. It actually works btw, which is an accomplishment after the shitty releases in 2014. It's so refreshing just to be able to play a game without much glitches, etc. Then again, yes the story is weak, but some of the side quests are entertaining (the mom one was pretty funny). The parkour is fast and works well. And that night time...the best night I've seen in an open world so far! Like you said, it is so fun to just mess around in.

Spot on review. Joe is, i think, one of the most honest and intelligent reviewer. I'm sick of this reviewers that are trying so hard to make a "sophisticated review" with "writing"; style over substance. I'm glad Joe is taking all the elements that make a game and make a judgment based in all of them. A 6 or 7 is pretty fair in my opinion.

I thought this game was a pretty good. The story and characters are weak as hell but the zombie killing and the exploration was great.

I just bought the 5 year anniversary edition. It has all the dlc and preorder bonuses. A HUGE game for only 14 dollars in Xbox marketplace. Hadn't played this game before and wanted to see if I would like it since DL2 is out now. This game is amazing. A few things fall short but I can overlook those. Such a great game.
