My understanding is that the ratings of the bench coach essentially replaces the manager in terms of development. Hard to say for sure though.

A few thoughts, actually. First of all, keep in mind that at the most your new coaching staff costs $3.5 million. Is it really worth paying a mediocre player's salary over getting a coaching staff that will change the direction of your team's development? No. This is easily one of the most cash efficient decisions you can make, so you HAVE GOT to do it. Second, you will always have the funds, no matter what team you're on. That's what the next video in this series is about, actually.

First of all, the game costs money??? Or are you talking about buying the live franchises? Second of all, there is no staff in OOTP Go (period). A whole lot of features are missing. OOTP was not designed to fit on a smaller mobile screen, and OOTP Go makes that abundantly clear. The UI is absolute trash. Overall, there's no question they rushed the release. I honestly think they were at least 2 years out from something resembling a quality product, maybe more. Keep in mind these guys aren't incompetent programmers, they've just never really done a mobile game before.

@@sgtmushroom It crashed twice when I tried to play this morning. It’s not amusing to get to the 7th inning and have the thing crash. Or spend a half hour putting players on the short list then a crash wipes it out. Stability of an app is a bare minimum requirement so I’d say that makes the programmers responsible “incompetent”. Regardless, I enjoyed watching your videos. Learned a lot.
