Boy do I miss the late 90's to the early 2000`s import scene!!!There will never be another Era like it!!!When "The fast and the furious" franchise came about, it just made the import scene that much better and more exciting!!!The generation today wouldn't understand the excitement that came about around that time!!!I mean everybody and there grandmother would modify there vehicle during this era!!!Long story short, there was nothing like it and damn do I miss it!!!;)
I remember when FnF1 came out people started organizing street races and car meetings all over the country. Every weekend the police had their hands full writing tickets at street races. A lot of people started modifying their cars too. Good times!
I hear ya, I saw the first movie 3x that summer in the theater. I was 18 and it was a perfect time to be young and into cars. Still into it all these years later. I've started collecting old parts and things from 1998-2008ish. Magazines, posters, etc etc.

600/650 is perfect for street usage! Still, plenty to have fun at the track or strip and the car is ''dailyable'' If you want more, I would say Intercooler and a new map! You got an easy 620/650 mark all depending on your turbos and how much you wanna push them! Personally, I would still do the intercooler but with the same map... (620 no sweat)

I think a Hub Dyno would give better HP readings to be Honest, no Tyre Slip to worry about, plus they are portable, so you could take the whole set up to different car meets or car Shows and do some HP runs there, take care and Drive safe.
I've had everything but a nsx and a gtr as far as the "import" side of the car scene is concerned. I have a jeep wrangler now as a garage car, take the daughters out on trails n stuff like that.. when they're a little older I want to get back into something sporty, maybe another mk4 supra or a gtr. We'll see where life takes me😎👍
@@geoffnelson64 Yeah, I’m hearing ya! Had R32 & R33 & thought they were the bomb until I drove my mates R35, but if I had a choice today (at my age) V6 F-Type Jag, best sounding car I’ve heard so far!! But, the GTR is far from being an old turd, the Porsche guys really hate them🤣
The only way I could live in LA and commute anywhere is to own a helicopter, as I would end up doing a michael douglas in falling down if I had to spend 2 hours in traffic just to get 10 miles across town. And as I dont have a rich benefactor Uncle or have experience a Lottery win, thats not gonna happen for me
