keep in mind, youtube is his dayjob, just algorithm based showings of indie games. His twitch is his 'after hours show', his enjoyed hobby that he actually likes doing, where hes less family friendly, has more fun, does full playthroughs, etc.

If you like tabletop rpgs, he was also a founding member of Roll4It for the original shadowrun, dark heresy, and D&D campaigns, but left when it got too businessy. Those old series are still gold. I use em to get people into shadowrun all the time. The vods are all on the Roll4It youtube. Hes definitely a dope dude.

Their is one thing I don't like about the game. When you go to the campfire, the zombies come back. I died like 10 times on the first 2 zombies. haha

Yeah, Dying Light was so great, Dying Electric Machete wasn't so great.

Weakness

I know. On the other hand, it makes perfect sense that, when you emerge from your bunker into the post-apocalyptic world, you'd just smash everything to bits, huh? Heh, heh. You'll never be able to make that stuff again? Ah, who cares? Just smash it. Everything is better when it's smashed to pieces. I don't know. But this just seems insane to me. (Yeah, it's a game, but... is this _fun_ for people? To me, it would be more fun to search houses for the stuff I needed - like in Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead.) PS. And speaking of campfires, he's got a perfectly good house there, with furniture and everything - and even a charcoal stove - but no, he's just going to smash all of it, so he can sit on the ground next to a campfire and wait for rain (or snow). Who needs a roof, right? :)

I think he played it when the DLC came out.

@@shikoome She had some stuff come up in her personal life and has been on hiatus for a long while. Her commentary and sweetness made games even more enjoyable than they already were. Plus she just had a calming voice to listen to for her LPs.

Because it serves our biological needs. Since we are no longer "wild" humans living off the resources of nature and fighting off other wild things for our own survival, we instead do it in video games to satisfy that biological urge that technology has mostly erased from our lives. NOT satiating these biological drives is why we are SO bored and restless and turn to video games or other vices (drugs/alcohol/gambling/other addictions) to get that chronic dopamine hit we so desperately need to find satisfaction and alleviation of our anxiety.

@@ClickToPreview You know, there's healthier ways to game human chemistry. Like human interaction, or learning a trade, or excercise. Much as I love them, video games are very easy to get stuck in for hours on end. I've had to force myself to stay healthy through this whole Covid thing.
