My Dyson Multifloor Small Ball vacuum cleaner was almost unusable on our lounge carpet. It would generate so much suction the head would become stuck to the carpet and then the brush rotor would shut off due to excessive amperage draw.
I investigate the problem and come up with a no cost, workable fix.
