[E3 2015] Exclusive video - Crowd reaction to Final Fantasy VII Remake at Sony Press Conference!!! 

The game is out already, I'm looking at my copy of it sitting on my desk while I'm typing this and this video *STILL* gives me chills

You know a game is a masterpiece when you release a trailer of a remake and never even say the title and EVERYONE loses their ****.

Moment of silence for people who played the original but aren't with us anymore to enjoy the remake.

I just love everyone's reaction when they finally see cloud.

What was even better was they showed a Final Fantasy chibi like game before this lol so it dropped everybody's hopes down then this comes up and just gave everyone a kick to the head. They planned this and it was well played.

I didn't realize 1 sound note can bring tears to my eyes.

Is it normal that after having finished the game twice now, that I still watch the reveal reactions and still feel like it's the first time I'm finding out its really happening?? 😊

Possibly the most epic moment in E3.

It doesn't matter how many times I see this. I always get chills around 1:17 and again at 1:40.

Watched this in 2024, with Rebirth coming out at the end of this week. I'm for real tearing up, this is magic in the making

Sad that we may never see live reactions like this anymore if E3 is gone forever. These reactions were the best.

5 years have come and past, and we are here today with FF7R in our hands, and for many of us, it was far greater than we expected. The wait was worth it.

This was such a damn epic moment to witness. And now here we are with part 2 about to come and it looks 10 times bigger. Man what a time to be alive.

After all these years i've completed this game 3 hours ago and it was a brilliant experience

I’ll always remember the reaction video where the one dude is just sayin “Please don’t be a movie, please don’t be a movie…” and then flips when “Remake” pops up. I hadn’t seen that much energy surrounding am announcement since Twilight Princess. Resident Evil 2 came really close too.

I remember this so well. The holy trinity announcement: FF7:R, Shenmue 3 and The Last Guardian

Many won't understand what this meant, and for the lucky ones that did, this was one of the greats in gaming. Many people all ages, specially people that played this as kids and now grown people. For each the original came at different important point in their lives. For me it was a great rememberance of time spent with my brother as we both played our first RPG ever and our minds were simply blown away. So I cannot listen to FF prelude theme without shedding a tear.

Chills. Everywhere. Even more than 3 years later.

I JUST started playing this. Ever since the 2005 ps3 tech demo I’ve been waiting for this and I can’t believe 16 years later I’m actually playing it.

2015-2017 is the golden time for gamer. Everything was so great. A lot of great experiences

Going back and watching this, pretty much 3 years later....even with all the controversy surrounding the development..I still get goose bumps. This was completely unexpected. Maybe some people knew it was coming but I sure as hell didn't. I knew what it was from 0:20 onwards into the trailer. It looked awfully familar to Advent Children's portrayal of Midgar. Then the next shot with the girl at the sector 6 playground really drove me up the wall. Probably the biggest gaming-related announcement/reveal I've seen in my lifetime. Now that Square has taken production fully in-house, I have a lot of hope and expectations for this. Whenever it gets here. I'm hoping it's within the next couple of years...but we'll have to wait and see. When this game releases, it's gonna break the internet and the gaming industry lol. I mean this is a once in a generation type of game release.

Just hearing the buildup in the audience, for some it immediately clicked and then people just started catching on like wildfire gives me chills

This is when gaming is at its absolute finest. A live crowd of excited gamers witnessing an announcement that wasn't spoiled online days before. Studios need to try and do this more.

Just here to remind everyone that in 26 hours, 33 minutes the game is out.

It has been 22 years. And we will finnaly get it april 10. Never get the chance to play it because I borned in 1997. Now it is my chance.

It's been almost 10 years since this announcement, and it's still five more days before PART II (rebirth) is getting released. Don't ever say we're not patient LOL

And yet none of them realized that the 'remake' of the title had more than one meaning...which is one of the reasons I LOVE this game and it's (eventual) sequels.

I remember just screaming my head off at my TV screen watching this live , just like these folks . My parents couldn't comprehend what was going on at the time when they heard me from half the house away 😂

The absolute *best* trailer and reveal of all time.

I remember coming back from work and seeing this. Gives me chills every time. I played on PS4 and recently started on PC with a few mods. I love this game. I love Final Fantasy.

From what I've gathered, they actually foreshadow the divergences and plot differences between what we now know as the "Re trilogy" and VII classic: "It may bring joy, it may bring fear, but let us embrace whatever it brings". They knew damn well about the plot changes and decided to explicitly mention that fans will be divided. Now that's balls.

As an N64 player, I didn't play FF7 during its initial release, so i couldn't revel in the joy of the remake as much as others. But if they ever remake FF6, I would lose my mind!!!!!!!!!

I remember watching this E3 live and not really realizing what was happening (I wasn't even thinking of FF at that moment) but that note... that one string.... Jesus did I get goosebumps.

One of the best games released on PS4 and PS5 and one of my favorites now just wondering to play Rebirth and PartIII in a few years.
