This is such an easy recipe, any body can make it. Such a simple recipe to follow and it'll feed the whole family.
To make this dessert you will need:
For the pineapple:
1 & 1/2 fresh pineapples, skin removed and sliced. Alternatively you can use 3 large pineapple cans. Drain the liquid and use fruit only.
50 g caster sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Pinch of salt
For the crumble topping:
200 g plain flour
220 g packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
110 g melted butter
Vanilla ice cream or double cream for serving
Preheat oven to 190°C (170ºC fan). Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
