For everyone wondering how you get your rope out of the tree this is how. You use the other end of your bow rope, attach it to the rappel rope, and then pull it down once on the ground.
I’m not an arborist but work in line clearance and climb trees and work with knots and rope daily. We what called dual rope technology but there are single rope tech as well. Basically everything is the same except how your rappel rope goes around the tree. It’s definitely worth checking out and would MOST DEFINITELY be a LOT safer.

@@pre_ban_andyyeah I thought I was gonna strictly SRT climb and hunt, but I like to switch trees a lot and dealing with a throw ball in some areas is a major headache. 1 stick SRT has been the way for me.
Okay I can't pass another saddle Hunter again you all need to stop acting like this is something special. Do some basic Research into some ddrt climbing equipment stop looking at hunting Saddles it's a waste of your f****** money look at tree removal equipment it's going to be cheaper you're going to be more comfortable and the gears going to be a lot safer😅 not to mention half of your entry methods or a joke and I'm not saying this guy in this video I'm saying as a whole every single saddle Hunter I've ever met thinks they need climbing sticks to get in a tree😂
I mean seriously all you need is a rope knowledge how to tie a persik which can be done with the same rope you're climbing with and a basic saddle that's all you really need all these other things are just extras a lot of extra weight that you're carrying for literally no point😅 everybody here carries all this climbing equipment and then you carry a ladder to get up the tree I have died laughing so many f****** times I just can't take it anymore it's embarrassing at this point
All the extra weight of one stick 🤣 I ain't no bitch I'm pretty sure I can carry a stick around all day not sweating. I'll stick to being mobile and hunting any tree I want while you're out there trying to throw a rope over a branch. I know plenty about ropes and know enough I would rather one stick and be up a tree quicker than you. Maybe you should start your own channel and show us how great everything you do is
