Denise and Gail's exchange in the cafe regarding their killer ex-husbands was downright hilarious! Denise: But he drove us down to the canal! Gail (smiles sweetly): But did he actually drive you into the canal? Denise (confused): No! Gail (proudly): Mine did! Nice to see both shows can poke fun at their most overly dramatic storylines! :) Thumbs up to both shows for doing this. Hopefully they can do more tongue in cheek crossovers in the future

I think the BBC and ITV should make world history and twin the towns in their soaps so that the viewers can enjoy many more moments like this! I understand this was written by Darren Little a Corrie legend. Brilliant script and well acted! I hope Children In Need gained a great deal from this performance. Happy Birthday Corrie!

I always wondered why the soaps never do many crossovers, i now understand why, for example if EastEnders did a crossover with Hollyoaks, people would mistake Kathy Beale for Sandy Roscoe and people would mistake Warren Fox for Jake Stone

Wow. Never knew this existed! I've been watching Corrie since they were black & white, from Canada, and I never got into the other soaps (Eastenders back in the 90s for a bit but that's all). This was amazing & hilarious 😂 ❤ Good to see Sunita & Hailey again ❤
