Considering the last meet was an 825kg total I'm super excited to see how Sean will do at his meet! Specifically his squat which has come a long way since working with Steve!

Yes sir!!!! Sunday Funday for Big Sean's upload 😤😤 just got the Brahma belt after watching your squat video some weeks ago, can't wait to use it and can't wait to see some big numbers 8 weeks from now

My prediction for comp Squat 290-300 kg Bench 220-230 kg Deadlift 330-340 kg So 840-870 kg total unofficial WR coming soon hopefully. Keep up the pace Sean and good luck.

Why do you hold your breath and brace for so long before the squat? No way that is optimal usage of energy, right??
@Jmack7861
@Jmack7861 3 года назад
Personal preference. Probably not optimal for him to do such a wide stance either, but if he’s comfortable with it and feels strongest that way there no reason to change it Up

@@Jmack7861 That's where I disagree. Obviously it "feels good" for him, but that doesn't mean he should do it.. Not saying I am stronger but there is no way he is maximizing performance by holding his breath and bracing for so long, especially when doing volume work that is gonna have a negative impact on your energy levels through the set.. would be interesting to see what Sean thinks

didn’t hit depth for the first rep on squat. Hard to tell the second though.
@David-lu4th
@David-lu4th 3 года назад
hard to tell with the ridiculous techniques he's using to shave off every centimeter and squeeze every drop of incremental weight jumps he can. This is why I like olympic lifting because you can't do stupid shit like that just to pad your numbers
@Anon.G

@@David-lu4th yep, not much subjective about Oly lifting, I'd argue deadlifting is the same(some might argue about conventional vs sumo)
