On my journey of growing my natural hair, I have adopted @GreenBeauty‘s easy blowout for length retention and no heat damage. Heat stretching my natural hair usually helps in length retention as long as it is done well and done safely. Other blowdrying or blowout techniques require a lot of brushing through the hair, which causes friction which results in breakage. This easy blowdrying technique cuts out all of that friction and leaves me with stretched hair but no heat damage.
I used:

Hey ⭐ I forgot to mention, after applying aloe vera juice, I then used a Shea Butter Mix before applying the heat protectant. How do you feel about blow-drying your hair? Do you have a particular technique to retain length but avoid heat damage? Let me know here in the comments ☺

@@kriseme4734 the Aloe Vera juice is the Aloe Pura brand. The Shea Butter mix is a DIY (which you can find on my channel). Hope that answers your question 🙏🏾

@@kriseme4734 I get you. Honestly this is the first one I had purchased so I'm not overly experienced when it comes to heat protectants. But just to note, I'm more low porosity with medium/thick strands.
