Spinach is rich in something called oxalic acid. In some people, excessive amounts of foods rich in oxalate can contribute to kidney stone formation. It can also cause severe bloating, gas, and cramps if you eat too much at one time
I would brown up some ground beef, chop some tomatoes , green onions and open up can of green chiles. Then I’d take some burritos and put the refried beans mixture on the the tortilla and add tomato,onion and some green chiles for some amazing burritos for dinner. Just a thought! Love your shows!
I love those kind of dish. When my kids were small and not enough income. We made dinner with what we had. Now they are all grown up and they still remembers those dish and make comments on it. Or ask for recipe, they always say that was the most tasty dish. Erma
It's spinach, it's really not good for you if you can believe that! 😮😩 It contains a high amount of oxalates, which is hard for the body to absorb and assimilate!
The oxalic acid can cause kidney stones if you have too much of it but it's definitely good for you. It's one of the most nutrient dense leafy vegetables.
