I hope this video will explain why I love beach fishing so much! Wild open places no rules, regulations or overpriced tickets. I only caught one fish but I had a wonderful time. Bill
I only had 2 short experience on sea fishing, and I can say loud and clear, I'm so in love of sea fishing. I don't mind travelling 6 hours round trip, just for having 3-4 hours on the beach. Its absolutely fabulous
Not catching doesn’t spoil one second of a great video... haven’t been to that part of the world for years... I think I’ll be getting the sat nap out after watching this! Thanks Bill...
Hi well as a Norfolk born boy, I spent a lot of time fishing this area. It has changed as the money has moved in but it still retains its feel. One interesting change has been the expansion of the salt marsh area behind some beach’s. Regrettably the shore fishing has deteriorated but there are now smoothounds and more bass so hence why I used crab as bait. We used to catch tope from Cromer pier and I wonder if they still visit the area. Bill
Phil Thorpe hi no I didn’t it was undersize for eating, it made the size limit, but I don’t like flounder to eat. Dabs, Sole and plaice I do eat them. Bill
Always love you bill you are such a genuine old school fisherman yes you have give lot of entertainment on your videos I just hope the young guys pick up on it love you bill thank you xx
At Salthouse just down the coast there is a gravel bar 200 yards out which you can get out of a boat and walk on at low tide as the depth is only the depth of a standard oar blade. So keep your casting in that area around 100 yards to stay in the gully.
Well Bill looks a happy fisherman in his wellies there if enjoy the beach fishing def do it some mare take the fresh sea air in and enjoy it wearing your wellies
Robert O Reilly Hi well if I didn’t have to travel so much to reach the sea, minimum 2 hours drive, I would do a lot more beach fishing because I love it! Bill
Hi Bill, been watching your video's for two year's now, and just found out how to add a comment, you remind me of a modern day"JACK HARGREAVES" (check out on RU-vid) dont ever lose your down to earth style of explaining how to fish, love and look forward to every video, thank you
Don't talk to me about Jack Hargreaves, in the seventies Elmore angling club had a prize winning day, at Lee on solent and Hargreaves wanted 500 pounds to do it......... In the end Leslie crowther, crackerjack fame.. Very kindly done it for free... 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
Phil Thorpe Hi sorry for the delay in replying! No I returned it as I am not fond of flounder to eat. If it had been a dab it would have been cooked as soon as I got home! Bill
