this is a good damn mom. even when she’s exhausted she still does her best for her kids and she’s real about how she feels while not looking for sympathy.
@@natetoopi567 Not everything that's recorded is a skit, this is some shit my parents used to do. It is called a demonstration. So If anything this is anti-perfect mom shit. It's to show that "Hey, the kitchen is chaotic, not perfect, don't pretend it is". Though she is playing a role, called being an actual mother. Not whatever that fake nail tapping ASMR, perfectly organized, bullshit is. Sure it might not be AS chaotic as this on average, but it's more of a demonstration. Demonstration≠Skit
@ComicalOrangeVR Yes, not everything is a skit but I ain’t talking about everything. I’m just talking about this in particular. She’s playing the role of a ‘mum who’s over it’ and it’s obviously exaggerated for the camera. I can see what she’s doing. Not hating on it, I actually like it for the dark sense of humor.
@@natetoopi567ngl, while I'm not a mom, I'm a someone who's over it sometimes too and I very much look like that making anything when I'm in that mood. Like just because I'm fucking done and just don't wanna have to do the shit but it needs to be done (because I need food, so do my pets etc). So if you ask me, while yes, she may be exaggerating she may also not be and really just is that over it but takes the opportunity to help those who are also in that situation
She's like a combination of Muriel and all her siblings combined from the movie Muriel's Wedding.. after they've reached middle age and really REALLY don't give a fk about anything.. lol
Jarlic tipped me over too 😂. Also love that she didn’t bother to edit herself tripping over her words. Nice reminders that Good Enough is still in the Good catagory.
@Alixir1228 your comment is out of context. They said nothing about the platter not being hand made, she said this is how the delis make the sandwiches. (Edit she is making it by hand, I did not see an automated process, if you mean from scratch I can 100% GARUNTEE your delis did not make theirs 100% from scratch as your stores undoubtedly do not have livestock to slaughter for the meat or milk to make the cheese. I also doubt they have a wheat field to grow the wheat needed for the bread... you see where this is going. Don't call people out if your not ready for rebuttal)
@@Alixir1228 I can’t think of a sentence that has less to do with the subject at hand. You will continue to be stuck working at grocery store delis for good if you don’t improve your reading comprehension
Love this wonderful woman, at 64 after planning, shopping, cooking for 7 kids, and often any of my 13 grands, (especially when I often can't eat the food myself due to medical reasons ( I feel this mood. Nice idea, my daughter showed my garlic/cheese bread with these rolls. Yummy
Also, I love the term she coined: "Jar-lic" 😂 (already minced garlic from a jar.) Makes things even easier! Less effort, less words! Love everything about this!
She could also have put this all on the table as a build-you-own meal and baked, toaster-ovened or panini-pressed each child's creation. A tray of roasted veggies and go! We all do what we can.
Listen my baby gets a whole different meal alot of the time because i am lazy and would only wanna cook for him but not me. You may call that proper parenting but its just reverse neglect on myself. No one can have enough energy to do it all The ‘families eat together’ thing is a pain but even if I don’t make a giant dinner my kids don’t go hungry. Mines too picky anyway
@@LaurenJayx0 u do realize that she wasn't saying she was neglecting her children. She was saying that the mom is dedicated, bc even if she's tired she still cooks for her children and stuff, she doesn't use it as an excuse to neglect them.
I don't have children. But I see you and you got this! You're stronger than you know. I offer if you need something holler I have Snapchat. I'm a listener my mouth shut and my ears open (other than my TS). Big hugs Momma
I think they were basing their comment off of the original recipe of the video, the ham and cheese sandwich. Hopefully they're not talking about the cereal lol @@emoarrrow
@@sammanthaford3982 I have an easy meals and hard meals list for each week I can make. My favorite easy meal is pork chops + steak seasoning. Cook and remove then add a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup to the drippings as gravy. Serve with microwave bagged rice and a bag of steamable frozen veg. If I have the energy to 'make it fancy' I'll saute some diced onion and fresh mushrooms before adding the soup.
I am laughing so hard. Jarlic, that is awesome. Your face says it all. Don’t have kids but as a babysitter/nanny for 15 years I get it! Thanks so much for the laughs.
I say “jazz hands for emphasis “ every time I watch these and everyone in my house used to look at my funny and now they know they’re having a lazy meal sometime this week. 😂😂❤❤❤
As a broke, busy, 20-year-old who lives alone, I think Slider might be just the thing I need so that I’m not worrying about cooking. Once I actually get a working stove in my house.
this is smth my family has made in the past but to the simplest version, literally just the lunch meat and some american cheese and into the oven. if you use ham, it can be like a hot ham and cheese :) also really good w tomato soup btw
It's the SOLID face the whole time cuz if that ain't me making breakfast early af I don't know what is 😂😂😂😂😂😂 (Edit: did not expect 1.3k like in a week 🥺 dope af)
I am becoming a fan of the way you do everything. Thank you for letting us peek over your shoulder at your life because it is incredibly funny. Keep up the good work
I see it sweetheart. I love the enthusia. The overwhelming Joy. That deep down Joy feeling in your bones that you have when you do these videos I love it p keep up the good work sweetheart
I’m not a mom but some days are harder than others and I’m just over it! I appreciate your realness 😂 life is hard, meal time should be easy 😆 oh and I love your “over it” face lol, the freaking best
I was like, "Girl, you feeding your kids better than most people do on a regular day." You're such a good mom. It is nice watching you and getting ideas of things I might do when I have a kid.
@@Crackpot_Astronautsadly it is where I live. My neighbour’s son once told me his best food hack, a takeaway chip with a noodle from a chicken and mushroom pot noodle balanced on the top. And his eyes lit up like foodie beauty inhaling a nashie when he ate it :( Really sad for a lot of kids
This meal is not nutritious at all, there are easy and healthy meals to make. You can fkn marinade chicken, then bake it and serve it with a side of like flavored rice and a steamed vegetable that you can both make in the microwave. It's actually easier than this meal and much more nutritious. What she's making is a fkn party food for a birthday or New Year's Eve party.
If you don't or can't shower I get that. Try Scrubzz they're a washcloth with soap no rinse and no sticky residue. I use the lavender where I can't get my leg wet.
I watched this Sunday morning. We went out and got everything to make these for dinner that night. Every kid liked them and the 4 year old had 2! The oldest (and pickiest) asked if we could have them more often. 🎉 THANK YOU
You ma'am just gained another subscriber. I'm not a mom, but work full time and a full time student, have a teenager at the beginning of a growth spurt and a full husband amd I'm over it so I'm with you 😅
There is a thing where you feel up to doing something first thing in the morning and don't feel like doing much by evening, which is when dinner is generally served in the US. Maybe give an exhausted-by-dinnertime mom a break?!?
@@donnawestbrook8992 uhhh... I was giving her a compliment. I love her quirky style and her video shorts by the way. You totally read my comment in bad faith.🤔 By the way I'm an American and I know what time dinner is usually served✌
Jazz hands for emphasis 😂 super relatable. Will have to keep this recipe in mind. I always have Swiss, ham and turkey on me because a monte cristo for breakfast is one of the easiest things I can make. And then you use what’s left of the egg mixture for scrambled eggs and you’re good to go.
