Running has been much harder recently, partly because I've been so busy and haven't been able to train regularly. I don't want all the running in the vlog to fool you - this run was 8:09/km! That's the reality of coming back to running sometimes. This was my first foray into hills in months, and it was a struggle! Hopefully I'll be back to regular training soon.

Congrats on 50K! I love the Sungod Ultras! I'm going on a roadtrip to the Pyrenees this summer, so would wear them on some high altitude trail runs out there, I'll be sure to send pictures! Really enjoy these more casual, chatty run videos! 😀

I currently use Spiderwire Terror Eyes because they are polarized with yellow/amber lenses for better visibility and my eyelashes don't hit the lenses, but they are made for fishing, not running. I'm 51 years old, new to running, and currently training for a half marathon. Congrats on the subscribers!

Love watching your videos. Got my first ultra in February (77km) on Peddars Way. Love the Classics and would love to try the ultras for running, and perhaps for canoeing. We have just finished the Great Glen Canoe trail covering 100km and wild camping the whole way. Would love to go back and run the Great Glen Trail too! Of which was full of rhododendrons, beautiful but overpowering for other plants.

Congrats on 50k! I've been watching your videos since 2019 when you were training for Tokyo and it's nice to see the channel growing!! I'm not sure on my favourites, I think I like the Ultras or the Velans - they would be coming with me on trail runs up in the Peak District and I'd love to see if they worked for long distance endurance riding which I do with my horse!

Love the video! I am just about to do my first ever triathlon!! I have been trying to find a pair of sunglasses to help me out through my long runs and bike rides and have been eyeing up Sungods for a long time! I think the Velans are my favourite - although hard to decide betweeen those and the Ultras! Fingers crossed doing my first marathon within the next year so the glasses would get lots of trips out!xx

The Ultra’s are my favorite, just haven’t got around ordering one. Probably use them all over, but I’m training for Berlin marathon (sub 3 hour attempt) and arc off attrition 50 mile. Good luck with your adventures flora.

Love the look of the renegades in matte grey and gold. Heading to Lake Bled soon with the family for an activity holiday and think these would be perfect for wearing whilst on the SUP. For running love the look of the ultras in Matte white with iris smoke. Understated and will be fab when i try to go under 1 hout for the first time for 10k in August. Thanks. Congratulations on 50k Flora, I know you've been working towards that for a while. It's been very interesting to see your recovery journey over the last several months, which has resonated even more with me after I tore my left quad in March. Obviously I have a very different recovery timeline, but after 8 weeks without running, as I slowly ease back in I have had to readjust my expectations in terms of pace/distance etc. like you have! My favourite Sungods would probably be the Ultras - there are some beautiful combinations there! I'd wear them in the Peak District this summer, which is my new trail running home as I move to Sheffield in a couple of weeks! Hopefully that makes for good training for the Hardwolds 80 race in November

Congrats on 50k - huge milestone! Also, this video has reminded me that I really need to re-prioritise exploring Bristol more, we've been here for 6 years now and *still* never been to Blaise.F ave SunGods are either the Ultra because they look super functional, but the Sierras look amazing too. I've signed up to run the Frome Half Mara in August which will be my longest distance for ...8 years I think! So will be out a lot more over the summer in training for that - hoping to bring our dog along for some of those training runs too! 🤗

Very difficult choice, indeed. I would go for the renegades, stylish and classy I believe. Whoop whoop on the 50k 🎉 I love the SunGod Sierra frames and am also looking for a clear lens for night running as I am training for my first half marathon in Spring (currently winter here in NZ 🇳🇿) in tje beautiful Taupō. Like you, I have to be smart with my training and respecting what my body needs as I have chronic pain and fatigue since cancer treatment so learning to build up super slow and steady is critical for me... I have yet to keep an "easy" run in the right heart rate zone! But I'll get there at some point 😊

I think my favourites are the Vulcans! I'd be wearing them as I recover from a nasty skiing ACL injury on the bike outside this year. I’m loving the ultras, I’ve been admiring them for a while since I first saw you wear them on your channel. I have a couple of canicross races this year with my beautiful Samoyed Gwen so I’d love to wear them for that, plus I get hay fever and find sunglasses are a godsend in protecting my eyes from the pollen. Soooooooo many options! I’d have to say Vulcans (for when I need to feel fast) or Renegades (for when I feel relaxed). It’s always a mental game for me and what motivation I need for that session/race.

The ultras a hard to beat! I do like the Vulcans and Velans too. I’d love the same clear lens as you for winter runs. My eyes water so bad 😳 I also love the full coverage. It would be great for protection from the harsh Australian sun! I run mainly trails so having a protective pair of sunnies that don’t bounce all over the place would be so good!

Sierra is my fav as it looks better on my face due to having a petite face. I would wear it for running, outside mobility work . Yoga in the park and just every day to day. Will 🤞be a staple in my day to day life . Well done on your 50k subscribers you do great content .

Love the Ultras! 🤩 They are absolutely fantastic for all outdoor activities I do - canicross, (trail) running, hiking and dogtrekking 🐶🌳 The lens adjusts to the amount of sunlight which makes them perfect for sporting in a forest, but I liked them so much that I use them even for simple walks 🥰

You can't beat the look of the Ultras! I recently just completed my first 50km and it was so windy I had bloodshot eyes for about 24h after the race!! Definitely want to check out getting a pair like the one's you've got on in the vid!

Congrats on hitting 50K! Been watching since the first lockdown in 2020 when I (like many) got super into running. Have since moved to Canada and starting to get back into my running & hiking after a winter of skiing - been off my training game so very much empathise with the title of this video! I love the Sungod Ultras and looking for a new pair for the summer. My fave style are with the matt grey frame and the 8KO iris lenses in HV blue.

I had a long weekend in Bournemouth last week and Rodadendrums were prolific in that area too. Didn't know they are an invasive plant though, luckily they are quite attractive. All the same colour oddly. Flora I have been following you for over 4 years and no surprise you've hit the 50k mark. Congratulations, throughly deserved. 50k ultra when you've recovered? Just a thought. I'd go for Sierra sunglasses as I drive a Sierra car.

I'm going to be training for a half marathon over summer and I've been looking into buying sunglasses for that. Now I just run with a hat but that is't gutting it when the sun is out. I love the ultra's and the velans. You always look so good in yours. Also happy you are running again, I've been struggling with health issues as well and it really takes a toll but you seem to do it so graciously and it's super inspiring.

Congrats on the 50k! I'm a big fan of the Vulcans (the special edition PFP ones kinda stole my heart). Would love to wear them on my new adventures as I'm moving to the UK from somewhere much sunnier. I'd love to take them on the adventures I have planned including watching the Tour de France Femmes, some bike packing trips and getting back to running after recovering from an injury

Wow, what a great giveaway! I'm a big fan of the Vulcans (the limited edition by Pauline Ferrand-Prévot is so gorgeous 🤩🤩). I'm also a big fan of the Ultras! They would be awesome for my first Xterra races this summer. 🌼 Coming from a trail running background, a good pair of mountain bike sunglasses would be amazing!!

Congratulations on 50K! I’ve really enjoyed following your running journey (the ups and downs, showing that rest can be more beneficial than pushing yourself all the time) and you’ve encouraged me to get into running, I’ve got 2 half marathons booked this year and am in the ballot for London next year!! I’d love a pair of the polarised zephyrs for festivals (praying for a sunny glasto!!!) and probably the ultras for those sunny summer runs (it’s getting a bit warm for a cap now) Thanks for offering your viewers the opportunity to win 💖
