I actually liked that ending. Peeps forget that venom started as a villain and became an antihero lol

That ending was fine for Venom. Funny how most people forget or don't know his history as a anti-hero that has had many goofball, silly moments because that's what makes him so charming. He's a big scary monster person sometimes but that isn't what makes him a character. It always depends on the writer how he's written and honestly a large majority of his fandom like when he's acting this way. So no, that ending isn't a glitch or the worst thing to ever happen. Also alot of people seem confused why he's light blue and i think being straight black would not make the sprite stand out the way it should. These games have amazing sprites and to be fully black to not see the details of his character sprite would be a waste. Plus I'm pretty sure full black is a possible color option anyway.

Venom's probably the most well realized character in the whole series. Every detail is just perfect.

More than anything, I can't believe how beautiful this old game sounds compared to the stupid 3d versus games. The voice acting, the music, even the hit sounds are so much more satisfaying.

IIRC Carnage is referenced also in this game just a color-swapped Venom that's faster but is a glass cannon. He has an afterimage effect in his sprite.

God I miss CAPCOM's spritework in the 90's. This game's graphics were just orgasmic in terms of quality.

Hearing Spider-Man's theme in this game makes me sad that isn't his theme in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite.

The best way to experience Venom's ending in MvC1 is to team Venom with Jin. What Jin does in response to the crazy things Venom says is hilarious.

90's Venom became an anti-hero in the comics and Eddie isn't really a bad dude, just horrendously maligned with guilt complexes. It's a pity you didn't have the context to get that.
